Trying them on (I bought them at a Reebok Outlet Store), I was impressed by their light weight but was a little concerned about two weird feelings: One, my feet felt like they were sliding forward into the toe of the shoe, and two, the sole felt rather slim and elevated, giving me the feeling that they were tippy and I was balancing on them. Nevertheless, I bought them, strapped them on and started running...I couldn't be happier.
The light weight has clearly reduced my fatigue and I got used to the slimmer soles rather quickly to where I don't even notice that tippy feeling anymore. The shoes still give me the feeling that I'm sliding into the toe of the shoe, but it seems to be an annoying perceptional thing as I don't have any blisters, numbness or pain in the toes during or after the run. It's as if the heels are higher than other normal running shoes. The most important part...no shin splints! The shoes have allowed me to run long distances (for me) and I don't hurt for the next week. For what I need, they are 100%.

Best running shoe I've ever tried. I'm in the army and i run about 30 miles a month split between sprints and distance runs. These shoes take time fir your body to get used to. If you try to go runNing with them brand new and you have never owned a pair you're knees and feet will hurt. Wear them walking around for a week or two first. Then you're small muscles will strengthen and knee pain will be s thing of the past.I've between barking knew pain for ten years. I have been nearly pain free since i started running in realflex almost a year ago. This is my second pair. I love them.

I'm very pleased with this shoe. I've read reviews stating that the heel is uncomfortable, chafes, etc: I find this to be untrue for me. My biggest concern regarding this shoe was that there wouldn't be enough padding, or any for that matter. In actuality, they're extremely comfortable, with plenty of shock absorption (I run on asphalt and trails). Moreover, the shoe is extremely light. Compared to the multiple pairs of New Balance shoes I've trained with, I prefer these for multiple reasons. A: They're light B: The whole "RealFlex" thing is pretty sweet. The shoe does bend and contort naturally with* your foot. C: Dude, Type O Negative colors. (Black and Green). D: Awesome value considering I paid thirty dollars for a pair. Hard to beat that, bro.All in all, I'd suggest trying out a pair. For the price, it's worth it to test them out. Unless you're a high-end shoe snob, I doubt you'll have complaints.
Awesome shoe!
