I've been living in Spiras for years. Since I lost all my spinal discs (shock absorbers) to scoliosis fusion surgery, I need all the shock absorption I can get! I have very finicky feet, and not every Spira shoe works for me, unfortunately. After a couple near misses, I found the Striker was perfect for my feet, and have been through 3 pairs. I actually bought the very last pair of Strikers in my size that were left on the internet. I was very sorry to see them go, and had to try several other models before hitting on the new Scorpius. DJ in Spira's customer support was very helpful in suggesting the Scorpius and in helping me determine the right size so I only had to order one pair. Thanks, DJ!

It feels just like getting a new pair of Strikers! Suddenly I WANT to be on my feet, and seem to move effortlessly with less fatigue and soreness. I'm not a runner, but you don't have to be a runner to benefit from the great support, stability, cushioning and bounce you get from a pair of Spiras.

Unlike the Striker which ran small, the Scorpius runs true to size. I don't see any here on Amazon at the moment, but they do make wide sizes, which I need. The toes are not too pointy or narrow, a problem I encounter with many shoes, and the mesh fabric is cool and comfortable. The soles offer just the right balance of cushioning, support, and flexibility. I like the silvery gray. I think they won't get dirty-looking as fast as a white shoe. I'm sure this will not be my last pair! The blue color is not yet available, but I'm looking forward to it. I consider my Spiras to be an investment in my health.

I researched running shoes to find a pair that would allow me to run with the ankle problem I have. These are the first pair that have allowed me to run without pain! They are built in a way that supports the heel and prevents my ankle from twisting, but most importantly the springs in the heel and the ball of the foot cushion the jolt when running and prevents the pain in my ankle. Thanks to this great designed shoe I can run again and enjoy it during and not have pain following. Thank you SPIRA for creating a shoe that has allowed me to run again!

I thought these shoes would be ok but the fit didn't seem quite right. I made a mistake and tried to wear them anyway(I wanted a pair for quite awhile). They made my feet and legs hurt. I wish I would of sent them back before wearing, can't now.
