I bought these for my son and he likes them. They are very soft and lightweight. He wears them to school, I don't think they would be very good for a serious trail runner,they have a rather thin sole and not a lot of arch support. But for general purpose they are nice. The silver dots are flashy looking but I'm not sure I'd depend on them for a lot of heat production, though they do help a little. Probably best for a young person with no foot issues.
