These shoes are lightweight and breathable, but still supportive enough for cross-training. I take them on long runs, sprints and even max-effort deadlifts. They let your form shine through without trying to control your stride. No motion control, low arch. Nothing in the way. Heel-strikers look elsewhere.
They have a moderate break-in time and may take some getting used to if you haven't run in zero drop shoes before.
I love these shoes for high-intensity speed work, but they're great for distance training as well (for me, long-distance is anything over 3 miles up to about 10).
They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I regularly wear them without socks and without insoles.
Finally, just look at them. That's one sexy shoe!

I'm a big guy. Size 13 shoe. But, been running 35+ years in every brand and type out there. Not new to minimalist shoes (Innov8 fan), but had a real problem with these on a short run. Developed a raging heel blister about mile 3. They seem to have deep heel cup which seems to pitch the back of the shoe to rub against the Achilles. Love the look and feel of the shoe. Would re-purchase if the heel problem were fixed.Honest reviews on SKORA Men's Phase Running Shoe
My SKORA's just came in the mail today and I tried them on and I have to say that they are very comfortable, and light too! I'm pretty new to the world of minimalist running (these are actually my first pair of minimalist shoes) and I haven't had the chance to run in them yet. They definitely aren't like any other shoe I wore before. On a lot of sites, people suggest getting them a half size smaller than what you normally wear. However I wear an 8.5 in all my shoes and so I got 8.5 in these SKORA's too, and they fit perfectly. I think compared to the leather products from this company these shoes fit true to size. So far if I love them. If anything changes I will update it here.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for SKORA Men's Phase Running Shoe
Since I made the switch from Vibram to Skora almost 18 months ago, I've improved nearly every month while slowly reducing my recovery time. Since the Phase has become available, I've set a 15k PR (improved one minute per mile), half marathon PR (improved by ten minutes) and am right now recovering quickly from a 24-hour relay race that required me to run 20 miles in four-mile chunks every 3-4 hours.Yes, I do work for Skora and yes, I did receive these shoes for free, but I wouldn't be so damn enthralled with the shoes or working for company if they sucked. Very happy to recommend the Phase to anyone looking for jut enough protection to save your feet from the ground but little enough shoe to give great ground feel.
I measure out at an 11 and wear the same in this style.
