I am stationed in Afghanistan and thought these shoes would be great for the rugged areas. I ordered a size 14 W. I could not wait to get the shoes. The day came we all over here wait for -mail call day. I opened my box and there inside the larger box a smaller shoe box with my new size 14 shoes, or so I thought. I opened the box that was labeled size 14, to a very good looking pair of size 10 medium shoes. The shoes would have been perfect except for the size. I went online to see how to return and get the right size, but for me the only option the site gave was to get a refund since they did not have my size available. so i submitted my return paperwork and was able to get my box back out by the deadline. a month later I see an email saying that they received my return and a few hours later another e-mail saying that a FULL REFUND minus $19.81 Restocking Fee Refund Deduction. Why would you charge your customers for your mistake. How am I responsible for putting size 10 shoes in a size 14 shoebox? I will be making a complaint to amazon for these practices by this company. I was even on a waiting list to get the size 14 shoes. Not now not ever! you have lost my trust and do not appreciate being treated as number.Should be ashamed of your business practices

I have very sensitive feet and i have tried several brands from New Balance, Saucony,and Drew.Before purchasing these shoes I always had a problem with sore feet and cramps in the arch area. These shoes with my Pinnacle arch supports have consistently given me the right comfort and support that I need. I think they have a nice look as well.Definitely a pair of shoes to try out !

Ordered these because it was (still is) very hard to find sneakers, and especially sneakers with hiking soles, in size 6.5 wide in brick & mortar footwear stores. Liked them while they lasted. After about 6 months of light everyday use and a couple of day hikes, one of the shoes had the inside of the heel counter worn down to nothing (there is a 1" hole in the fabric and you can see the exterior material through it), the counter in the other shoe is barely hanging on. (To prevent objections, I always take care not to break counters when putting shoes on.) It's a good pair of shoes, but, given the price tag, I'd expect them to last longer.
