I read reviews for quite a few products before finally deciding to buy these insoles from Spenco. Before buying these I had horrible foot pain after walking for just a couple hours, especially in the ball of my foot and arch. I usually wear a size 8 to 9 in shoes so I ordered a size 9-10 in insoles, which were actually quite big but after some trimming fit very nicely. I have no problems at all fitting them into my converse shoes or boots, but they are a little wide for my sperry top siders. Overall, these insoles provide excellent support and form to my foot in all the right places to prevent pain.Best Deals on Spenco 40243 Women's PolySorb Total Support for Her Insole
There a ten million orthodics to choose from and here is another you can stop looking for and finally BUY!! It has a great heel shock, nice arch support, nice ball of foot support, non-sweaty, relatively non expensive compared to many and easily slide into any pair of shoes or boots. Helps allot with pronation. Stay on your feet all day with these & feel great walking!! I'm very happy with mine and will buy again!! The Amazon price is by far the best I've seen yet!!And YES, most definitely keep in mind these might not fit all shoes and I find the heavier ones as these best for boots. Keep this in mind when you buy either.

*Evidently some people below are really bothered by my most sincere words and I'm shocked!!
If this review appears to state "verbatim" the same as for a similar product then rest assured I've tried that other product too and obviously it constitutes the exact same verbage, even though if these people read more carefully it's NOT the same. Trust me I would know as I have purchased TONS of ALL kinds of these as I have very bad knees that have been through surgery and months of physical therapy and are still a mess. I need to use inserts on most of my shoes because after years of wearing ugly orthopedic shoes it really gets old and you miss the cool looking shoes BIG time. It's the only way some of us can deal with the best of both worlds.
Regular WALKING, (& swimming too using a kick board), does knee injuries a WORLD of GOOD keeping your quads tight and raised up off your knees.
->After seeing the below comment, (more than a few times, that is...), I think that someone has way too much time on their hands nit-picking reviews that other people do take the time and care to write for the sincere benefit of others!!
Please know that I also have LOW VISION and writing ANY review takes me a LONG TIME and much effort!!
**Do NOT judge ANYONE until YOU'VE walked a mile LITERALLY in someone else's shoes!!**
Honest reviews on Spenco 40243 Women's PolySorb Total Support for Her Insole
Like a lot of women, I'm fairly 'knock kneed', plus I have a loose patella (knee cap) that is prone to subluxation/dislocation. I'm am simply amazed what a difference these inserts make! My knees are considerably more stable as I walk. They fit perfectly in my walking shoes straight out of the package (don't forget to remove the inserts your shoes come with, first). It's rare that a single product makes such a dramatic difference, but wow. If I could give these ten stars, I would.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Spenco 40243 Women's PolySorb Total Support for Her Insole
I decided to take a chance on these inserts and I am very disappointed. These are my complaints:1 My major complaint is that I ordered the #3 which is supposed to be size 9-10 for women. However, they are larger that. I could not get this in my size 9 or 10 shoes or boots. Instead I have a pair of size 11 boots (that are loose on me) where these inserts fit in snugly.
2 Another disappointment is that they are hard. I expected a softer insole, so I find walking on this almost similar to walking on a bare floor.
3 Third, I have high arches and the arch support is not high enough for me.
4 They are cheaply made. The picture of the product makes these look very plush but they are not. They are especially thin in the ball and toe area of the foot.
I wish I had not discounted the negative reviews on this site so readily. The reason I tried these is becuase I wanted to try someting that would help plantar fasciitis which some reviewers said worked for them (and some didn't). However, although they provide some cushioning, they are definitely not for me and they run a size too big in my opinion. Had I seen these in a store and examined them, I would have never purchased them.
