Once upon a time, Adidas released an incredible line of Predator shoes. They were comfortable and offered great protection. Then came the Predator LZ. These were/are NOT the traditional Predator Power shoes. They're now competing directly with Nike's Control line (CTR). So I abandoned ship. I guess many others did as well because Adidas have since then released a new silo under the name Nitrocharge. They market these towards players referred to as "the Engine" blablabla. Bottom line, these are the Predators brought back from the dead! And I absolutely love them.
Pros:
Good fit. Very true to size. I wear 9.5 and 9.5 fit like gloves. What a wonderful feeling :)
Very comfortability. Good cushioning. Did not need breaking in as I wore them the first time during a competitive match, and did not get blisters after.
Good protection. The material is nice and thick. These really are for the "Engine" of the team.
Great synthetic material so you get a good feel of the ball.
I (think I) can run better (not faster, cause that's just bs marketing) and make better cuts without discomfort. I can shoot better. The material does make a big difference. But then again, I'm coming from the Bomba Finale II with the very thin Nikeskin.
Cons:
Not the lightest boots. Light enough though.
Adidas may still be trailing behind Nike, but they have won me back with these. As long as they don't mess it up again next year, I'll be back for more.
