This is a very nice cross training shoe. I like them because they do what they're advertised to do. They can do pretty much any task you want them to do. They're light but they have good lateral support. They have good cushioning. They look good and they're comfortable. So far, after using them for over a month, I am quite happy with the shoes. Whether you want to use them for just about any activity you choose this shoe delivers very good performance. I mainly use them in the gym for working out. But you could use them for running or just about any other sport as well. All in all this is a very good shoe. However, I do have one complaint with them and it's not really the shoe itself. These shoes run a bit small. If they were a half size larger they would be perfect. So when ordering them I would get them a half size larger than you normally take.

Bought this shoe for my wife. She works in the hospital (night duty) spends a lot of time standing. This is her upgrade from the previous workhorse, the asics150TR. According to her, it has an improved cushioning and lateral support than the previous one. She loves it!

Based on a Consumer Reports review of the Gel-150TR, I purchased the GEL-160TR and wore them out. I then purchased my first pair of the Gel-170TR last year and they have lasted wonderfully after wearing them for various aerobics classes usually 2-3 days a week. I have been watching the price so when it dropped I bought another pair to add to my rotation. Plenty of room in the toe box. The heel slips a little on me, but I have a narrow heel. Arch support and cushioning are great so I feel no pain when running, taking step aerobics, or anything else that requires that kind of bouncing/pounding motion. The leather holds its shape longer than the traditional mesh shoe, and it helps stabalize the foot when doing side-to-side motion. The only thing I would recommend if you purchase this shoe is to buy longer shoelaces if you plan on using all of the lace holes. The laces that come in the shoe are not long enough; I usually purchase the 54" length to replace them..

Luckily I read some reviews that said to expect them to run small. I ordered half a size up and they fit well. Very comfortable, I would buy again.
