If your looking for a decent cross country racing flat, then this is the shoe for you. It looks great and feels great. Haven't gotten the chance to race in them, but I know that they will be great on the trails and hills. I chose the flat shoes since it doesn't make much of a difference between them and spikes as wells as on some courses you will prefer flats over spikes. Only reason for 4 stars is because you can get these cheaper on saucony.com. Only noticed after they were delivered, and didn't want to have to go through the hassle of sending them back.
If you're on the fence, buy them, but buy them from saucony.com

My second pair, nice fast lightweight flats, good traction. I had to get them 1/2 size bigger. If you're new to running in flats do lots of calf stretches before using them especially if you've been using the padded high heels that most people try to run in.

Great shoe. Saucony has been a staple of my footwear for years now. Nothing comes close.
But be warned, this style runs a little small. I wear an 11 US in my Saucony's, would be better in 11.5 US for this style.

This is a great running or working out shoe. Awesome colors and great price. Only thing I was disappointed with was the sizing. They run small so I advise going up a half to full size for comfort. Happy Trails!
