I would not describe the accent color as pink; it's more of a fuchsia or magenta shade.

As always New Balance design a nice looking product, very comfortable and light, you can hardly feel you have them on.Best Deals on New Balance Women's WT626 Trail Running Shoe
First the good: When I first put the shoes on, they felt pretty nice because the insole is quite soft and my feet felt nicely cradled. The way the outsole is molded also cradles the forefoot a bit (you can see in the pictures how the outsole curves up around the widest part of the foot). The sole is pretty flat and low to the ground just like a trail running shoe should be (not much heel lift, and I like that). They gripped my heel well, and there was virtually no heel slippage when I stepped.I thought they were keepers until ... When I tried to do a mock jog in them around the house, it felt like my feet/legs were fighting the shoe. Somehow the shoes just made me want to stand upright instead of stepping forward. I also noticed that the soft insoles which gave me a nice squishy feeling at first are actually quite flimsy -not the usual molded foam insoles on a running shoe, but rather a thin cut-out of unmolded foam that shifts around in the shoe quite easily. It seems like these insoles would wear out quickly and/or shift around and annoy me a lot. I just can't envision these shoes keeping me happy for the 10-15 miles a week I run offroad, so I'm returning them.
Other minor things that annoyed me: I got the black/pink color, and they look a lot more "busy" in person than in the picture -way overboard on the ornamental detailing. And there are way to many lace holes (who needs a lacing pattern that dense?!), and even then the laces are way too long -who wants gigantic lace loops flopping about? Ugh.
If I wanted a casual sneaker that I could half-hide under jeans and mostly walk around town with, I guess these would be OK ... though probably not worth the price. But I wanted these for actual trail running, and unfortunately they don't fit the bill for me.
