The lightest, most comfortable pair of sneakers I've ever worn!! Just keep in mind that with Saucony, they generally run smaller than other sneakers, so you do have to order a half size up.Best Deals on Saucony Women's Kinvara 4 Running Shoe
This is my fourth pair of Kinvara shoes and I have loved each of them, except the first pair because I bought them too small. When I first bought this type of shoe, I had ankle and calf pain due to how it forced me to modify my stride. Little did I know that I was on my way to ending my inefficient over-striding. As an "over pronator" I had worn stability shoes for years and had endless hip and knee pain. Once I got used to these shoes, all that went away. My run cadence has increased which has improved my pace. They are comfortable to wear without socks; which I have done for triathlons. Only drawback is that they are not warm enough for winter running so found an insulated shoe of a different brand for that (similar style) and they wear out in the toe a bit fast. I noticed there have been some modification to the shoe with this version, so hope some of these issues are resolved. I haven't had them long enough to know yet. Buy half size up for best comfort.Honest reviews on Saucony Women's Kinvara 4 Running Shoe
First off, I have said fits as expected but if you are a runner or trying to be a runner, you should get a fitting done because you usually do not buy your normal shoes size in running shoes. I buy a size larger. You should do this so your toes don't hit the end of your shoes while you are running. So if you have a vanity thing about your shoe size, then maybe you should just ignore that when it comes to running shoes. But don't just go by what I say because I an not an expert at shoe sizing! I just know what I have learned and what I have been told by the experts.Okay, onto these shoes. I have tried other brands of running shoes and found my best fit with Saucony. I have had several pairs and so far these are one of the best. Very lightweight. Fairly wide toe box meaning there is enough room but not too much! I wore these straight out of the box and went for a run on a treadmill first just to make sure they would be good. No problems at all. They feel really good, have good support for me (I don't wear arch inserts), and they look dang cool!
