we got a pair of these this june because our ten year old wanted to join our workouts. She started in a school this fall where they are outside and active a lot, and was getting blisters because she had outgrown the first pair, but she liked them so much for fit and color that she wanted them again. She wears them every day, for everything.

I purchased these shoes for my son after putting aside a relatively new pair of sneakers that were just too heavy. My son had been slapping his feet when he walked and his gait seemed unnatural with the previous pair. On a mission to find light sneakers, I gave these a try. Best. discovery. EVER. The second he put them on he zoomed around without clunking and was thrilled. He wore them to school every day, all summer long and they held up perfectly. As a perk, whenever they got wet, they dried very quickly in the sun. Since he preferred these over his heavy hiking boots, he also ended up wearing them for any 1-2 mile flat hikes on the weekends. I always checked for blisters after the hikes, since the soles are quite thin. He never had a problem. I would definitely say these shoes are not appropriate for steeper or longer hikes.

I bought these for my 5 yr old son.....they looked great, fit well and were easy for him to get on and off. Developed an order I can't get rid of....probably more from his feet than the shoes, but hasn't had it with any other shoes so who knows.......I would definitely buy these again for my kids.

My 5-year old daughter has a narrow foot. These fit her better than most runners. She loves the colour and can't wait to wear them to school.
