Great shoes, super light weight and comfortable. I would recommend theses to anyone looking for a light weight running shoe.They just feel great. My kids think they are " so cool"

A very comfortable racing flat for any distance, any surface (although especially tarmac). Wears down slower than previous Piranha models, especially the SP 2 model wore down quickly. This is my second pair of SP 4's, so must be happy about the first pair I had. Still am, still run with these, and saving the new ones for next year. Goes well sockless too, I would say up to 1/2 marathon distance, which is good for most triathlon distances.
I hope more people purchase this shoe and the Asics Piranha series will continue to exist. There is an increasing niche for it for sure.

Very light weight, feels truly like you are wearing a slipper. This is exactly what I was hoping when i purchased these shoes. It truly has the feel that you have the bare minimal on your feel when running. I have wider feet so at first the narrow was a concern, but the material molds around your foot and really is beautiful to run in. They have that "feel nothing" aspect that I love. A little strange out of the box, but give them a chance and you should love them.
