I purchased these insoles to go with a pair of Wellco Jungle Boots. If you are familiar with a panama sole, you know that they protect the feet from rocks in the insole but the trade off is that they are very hard with no cushion. The Isolate It insole definitely supports and cushions the foot. My only complaint which keeps me from rating higher is that the sizing information is off. The insoles come up short of the length of the shoes by about 3/8" which makes for discomfort under your toes. This being said, if you buy up on size and possible trim these would be a great choice.

I have had a long history of tearing through timberland boot liners in less than a year for the past 10 years or so. This caused me to have to buy a new pair of Tim's once a year!!! Finally I decided to try these new insoles out and I couldn;t be happier! These are truly more comfortable and durable than the timberland factory insoles the boots come with. Not only have I done NO doamage to these new insoles what so ever, my feet are exponentially more comfortable in daily walking. I also have noticed that walking up hills in my boots now takes far less energy than it did before thanks to these great sorthobane insoles!

The insoles are made of high quality material. It focuses on cushioning the ball of the foot in high impact situations i.e. jogging or aerobic training.
Unfortuantely, I need increased cushioning for plantar facsitis, which this product does not address.

I have been using this particular brand for over a decade! I have also used the other popular brands, which are ALL not close to the comfort of Sorbothane. Sorbothane also happens to be the material that covers all professional goal poles and NBA backboard frames. This stuff is unbelievable. Not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. I put these in every pair of shoes i buy, from casual shoes to my $100 nike's. You can't believe how a good a nike air feels wth this insole in it! It's like walking on a cloud, no kidding.

I really would have loved these insoles, but the right one's top layer came off (the thing silky side that makes contact with your socks). I tried to glue it back on, but only got a mess. They are useless now. I should request a replacement.
