this is my third pair of vibrams, the first being the sprint, then the jaya, which i still wear and am very satisfied with. today the treksports arrived and this shoe surpasses my other shoes in every way. these are going to be my favorite shoes from now on!! also the seller contacted me saying they were out in size 39, but i am comfortable with the size 40 and they promptly and courteously amended my order with no delay. For sure, they are a little odd to put on at first, but I went on two strenuous hikes right after I bought these and my feet felt great! I usually wear flip flops, and in the winter I wear toe socks, so having things between my toes is no biggie. These shoes are not for everyone, but they're fun. I like how lightweight they are. It's easy to feel the terrain under your feet, but not uncomfortably so. My only complaint is they seem to be a prone to slipping on slick rock, unlike actual hiking shoes. Vibram, please make some proper fivefingers hiking shoes!(Edit, three weeks later) After wearing these shoes a little longer, I have a few more details to add. First, I wish I had gone up one size. Two people in the store told me the shoes would stretch, but they really haven't. Second, I'm really glad I went ahead and bought the Injinji toe socks on Amazon. The shoes are so much better with them, but this really adds to the overall tightness.

All I can say is after the first day of break in,., LOVE EM LOVE EM LOVE EM...It is hard to put on shoes now....
