I bought these locally at a going-out-of-business sale, so I was fortunate to pay only $25 for them, which is probably about what they're really worth.
The first time I took them off, I noticed that the little fabric loop on the tongue that lets the laces keep the tongue centered had popped off. Sometimes stuff like that randomly happens, so I didn't think much of it -after all, it's an easy fix with a needle & thread.
Now, after having worn them roughly every other day for about 2 months, the plastic sides are starting to come off. Those colored swooshes on the side are clear plastic underneath with a glittery colored plastic layer glued on top, and the motion of walking makes them separate. Both sides of both shoes are coming off at once, so I'll probably just finish yanking the colored part off rather than try to re-glue it.
Long story short, if you can pay less than $40 for these and don't really care how they look, they're probably worth it; they ARE very comfortable. I don't run in them (I imagine they would've fallen apart much sooner if I did), but I have an otherwise-active lifestyle. It's a nice design, but with anything made in China (which these are, of course), you'll have workmanship issues.
