Wow! What a difference a good shoe can make! As a beginning runner, I just went to my local sports store and picked up a pair of Nike running shoes that fit well. Within 2 months, I sustained bursitis of the knee which put me out of commission for 2 weeks. The ortho never mentioned that it could be my shoes--just that the injury was from overuse. Fast forward a couple more months and mild knee pain returned. I google'd and discovered that this pain could be a result from improper shoes (albeit running shoes). I located a store specializing in running shoes only and had a "video" fitting whereby they record your gait on a computer and recommend a proper running shoe. They offered a Saucony, K-Swiss and Brooks. The Brooks felt the best--like walking on a cloud, but provided excellent support for my pronation.
Long story short, knee pain is completely gone and these shoes feel great. Highly recommend to try if you're experiencing knee pain.

I ran my first marathon and several shorter races last year with two pair of GTS 11's. I just bought a pair of GTS 12's this weekend to get ready for some upcoming races.
A seamless transition. The 12's have all the fit and features of the 11's. No break-in or anything required.
In all other shoes I wear size 9.5 medium. In this shoe, I go with size 10 medium.

I am flatfooted and I run average 3 miles per day. These are awesome, help support my arch, shin splints went away, great running shoes definitely worth the price!
Honest reviews on Brooks Men's Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoes
I am relatively new to serious running and was really comfortable with the GTS 11. In fact, I backlogged a pair as I was preparing for my first Half Marathon this winter. I just bought my first pair of 12's and was surprised to find that the 8 1/2B's were now too small and had to get a 9B. I have now walked four miles and run 5 miles in the new pair and am sure I will be as comfortable in this shoe as I was in the 11. With a narrow foot, my choices are limited, but these have been great shoes and I have had no foot problems with the Adrenaline series.

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline GTS shoes for a couple of years now. I absolutely love these shoes. They are perfect for my foot type and stride. I am a heavyweight 260 lbs and average about 15-20 miles a week. These shoes typically last me about 3-4 months per pair, which is decent considering the weight and mileage these shoes get. I know that can sound expensive to some people considering each pair is about $110, but it is absolutely worth spending the money on good shoes to avoid injuries. The Adrenaline has been my "go to" shoe and I absolutely love this Green color. That was my only complaint about the other Adrenaline shoes....they came is such plain dull colors that they looked like every other running shoe. This Green and Blue color really sets them apart and they look fantastic out on the streets. I love these bright colors and I hope that Brooks continues to make exciting color combinations for these shoes.
