I have tried many running shoes and saucony are one of my faves. I love the cushioning and narrower ankle. I have slightly wider feet and narrow ankles and saucony always seem to fit me great. These aren't as comfy as my grid cohesions...maybe after I break them in.

I used to be a Nike fan, but since trying my first pair of Saucony's I can't wear anything else. I have bought three pairs of these in a row. I started with the Ignition 1 and had two pairs of those (green and then the pink) and have now upgraded to the Ignition 2. The Ignition 2 is a better shoe. It has re-inforcements in better places. Especially around the toes. I love the Grid Heel! My feet never hurt anymore! I am a flat footed american indian with wide feet at the toes and they are perfect for me. They do seem to wear out faster than Nike's used to, but I don't care b/c they are so comfortable. My toes always seem to wear holes in the mesh. I do like the mesh though, it keeps your feet cool and I haven't had a pair of these smell bad.

I hesitated purchasing a shoe online without having tried it on in the store first, but I am familiar with how Sauconys fit, wear, etc. with my foot and how I use them. I am not disappointed with what I received. I am extremely satisfied with the cushioning, support and overall feel of this shoe. The fit is a little tight over the bridge (top) of my foot. However, after "wearing them in" a few times, they are perfect now. I would recommend these shoes for people with narrow feet (like mine). I think they wouldn't work so well for those with wide feet...? And the shipping was super-fast. Very pleased overall.

This is my second pair of these shoes and they are excellent. They do not break down and I have worn my last pair for one year. I do many kinds of exercise for one hour a day and my feet remain confortable. I would recommend these shoes.

I have had 2 pairs of sauconeys that I loved.. However the last 2 I purchased (and than returned) were not as comfortable as my other ones. These dont have the cushioning that I need. I am flat footed and there is a ridge on the arch that irritates my foot. I am sorry to say that I may be switchign brands.
