I've been trying to run consistently for years, but tendonitis would creep up on me (knees & ankles) preventing me from getting past 5 miles (sometimes even less). The cushioning in these shoes is just right for me, and I no longer suffer from tendonitis. This is my second pair of Spiras, and I plan on getting another pair when these wear out.

I have nothing but success buying these shoes. I am a heavy runner and put a lot of pressure on my hips, knees and ankles. These shoes make a world of difference in how I feel after a run. I purchased a pair of Gravity Defyers to replace my last Spira shoes and they did not hold up to running very well(although they were OK when playing Basketball). I will be purchasing more Spira in the future.

I work 12 hours shifts on cement floors in a factory. I tried many brands of shoes over the years and recently tried a pair of Gravity Defyers which also have springs. I was disappointed in the Gravity Defyers and they were so heavy they made my legs more tired. The Spira shoes are working out great and I take 5 mile walks in them as well as working. My feet have never felt so good after working 12 hours. I will get these shoes from now on as long as they are made.

ORDER A 9-1/2 D SIZE , USUALLY WEAR A SIZE 8 TO 9 . I PUT THEM ON AS SOON AS I GOT THEM AND THEY FIT JUST RIGHT. HAD ROOM UP FRONT AND WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. HAD TWO SPRINGS UP FRONT AND ONE IN BACK. THIS IS WHY I ONLY GAVE THEM A THREE STARS , THE FRONT SPRINGS YOU COULD FEEL ,BUT THE BACK ONE COULD NOT FEEL AT ALL. I HAVE BAD HEELS SO THESE SHOES DID NOT HELP AT ALL.
