These shoes are very comfortable and really light weight, but still have a pretty aggressive (hiking like) tread on them.

It seems like most decent athletic shoes out there are marred by at least one of three hideous design elements: flash, neon, and huge company logos. For an example, take a look at the difference between the Black/Purple version of this shoe in comparison to the Charcoal/Hot Pink version. Needless to say, it's getting pretty hard out there to find a nice, quiet pair of inconspicuous shoes that aren't completely white or black and don't look like they belong in a hospital. Sketchers is the worst about putting a big logo across what would otherwise be a good-looking shoe, so I was surprised to find this pair with its smaller "S" logo. These are fashionable, functional, and composed. They're quality athletic sneakers without any of the glitzy distractions. I can wear them to my workshop, and I can wear them with jeans on casual day at work. The fit is true to size, and they are comfortable.
