I like this road id, but be prepared to write small, as the slips for your info are really little. I kind of wish the part where you wrote your information was actually a part of the band, as it is possible to take the slips out and lose them.

This is a good ID system, but it's plastic and not as durable as the stainless steel Shoe ID tag I found at CrosstrainID.com -the last time I looked their ID was several dollars cheaper too.

Better configurable Road ID than the ones marketed to have your information inscribed onto metal. Inevitably your information changes and the metal ID is dated. This configuration allows for you to update your information on the removable card.

This is just a small velcro strap with a slip of paper you enter your personal information on, that then straps to your shoe. There was no internal pocket to store the paper with your emergency information, so it seems doubtful this info would still be associated with the show holder for long. I suspect that the first time you ran in the rain or under other wet conditions the paper would be ruined if still attached to your shoe. I was embarassed when I saw what an awful choice of a stocking stuffer this was the first time my husband tried to use it.

What a great item! There's plenty of space to write all the info you need to include plus an extra waterproof insert for when your needs change.
