This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. This Zoot shoe is designed to be worn without socks. I also own the The Vibram Fivefinger KomodoSport LS but feel a little too self-conscious to wear them out while grocery shopping, etc. So, I was looking for something that felt more natural than a standard running shoe, but could pass without stares, etc.

The Zoot running shoe is now my favorite non-work shoe because:

Very comfortable

Offers a little more support than a "5 finger" shoe, but not too much.

Looks like normal running shoe.

Very flexible this allows it to fit both wide and narrow feet. My feet are narrow, and I like how I can get a snug fit, simply by tying the shoes tighter. (There is nothing more annoying than having your feet feel like they are moving inside the shoes.)

The only negative is that they aren't terribly durable. Granted I'm a big guy, but compared to other shoes for around the same price they haven't held that well. But, because of the positives listed above, I was happy to purchase another pair.

I just got the shoes today, wore them to go eat and got back to my room and noticed the tread on the bottom was already falling off very poor. Not happy at all.
