Brooks makes quality shoes. I have been running in these for several years and have never found a better neutral shoe. Lightweight, comfortable fit, just enough cushioning and stability while maintaining a neutral profile. I have been racing for many years and these are a great trainer for a runner without biomechanical issues.Buy Brooks Women's Launch Running Shoes

I found this model after a lot of research on the internet, including Amazon.com. This model came out with one of the best reviews. I had problems with IT band injury in my left leg 5 miles into a 20-mile run when I ran with a new pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 12 shoes about a month ago. I also have ongoing plantar fasciitis in my left foot. So I purchased the Brooks Launch and tried it first on a 2-mile run. It had very good cushioning for a lighter shoe. I had no problems, but then again it was just a 2-mile run. Yesterday, I wore it again for a 23-mile run and I was just in heaven! My IT band injury in my left knee did not flare up at all. My left foot plantar fasciitis did not act up at all. It often did with most of my runs. Also, I often get runner's knee discomfort in my right knee and that did not bother me one bit! This shoe is a miracle worker! Maybe I've just been running in the wrong shoes all along. I think the best way to determine if you need neutral or stability shoes is to look at the bottom of your old shoes and look at the wear pattern. I found out that I'm a neutral runner, as opposed to running stores telling me I need stability shoes after they've watched the way I run. Except for the aforementioned Asics Gel Nimbus, all my previous shoes were stability shoes, so maybe that's why I had all these aches and pain before. Nevertheless, I'm sticking with Brooks Launch and I'm purchasing another pair for my birthday today! Now I can run my first marathon knowing that I can go this far now. Thanks Brooks Launch!
