They take a lot of adjusting. I've had mine for 2 days with constant adjusting and readjusting and I haven't got it right yet. The heel strap on right foot keeps slipping off. There are some helpful videos on Youtube (it could be I just have odd feet). From the videos, it looks like once you get them adjusted correctly for your feet, you never have to readjust again. For you "gram weenies" the weight of my size 10's are, Right foot= 4.2 oz and left foot= 4.0 oz.. Remember they are handmade and is the likely reason for the .2 oz difference.(they advertise a lighter weight but I suspect it is for a smaller size). The materials look like they are bomb proof, and will last me forever. (I'm not a distance runner. I got these for hiking along the Washington coast)

I bought these sandals for running purposes. I have been on the Vibram Fivefinger train now for about 7 years and want to try something new. Lunas are very comfortable to walk around in all day. I wore these to a music festival for 4 days and had no problems at all. For running, I love them. I still run in my Vibram Fivefinger varieties from time to time, but I'm slowly progressing into using the Lunas everytime I run.

The only problem I have with Lunas is with the price, a little steep for what your getting. But at the same time, the build quality of these is great and it would take me quite a bit of time to construct sandals in this quality on my own.

Overall.....great quality minimalist sandals that will meet your everyday needs.
