Okay so I kept looking and trying different shoes on the whole time with these in the back of my mind. I wish I hadn't waited so long. I love these shoes!!! I have always been a die hard Nike running shoe person because my feet are very long and narrow and all the other shoes seemed to get so wide when you get up into the 10 1/2 to 11 size range. These shoes beat any of the Nike's I have ever bought. Sorry Nike! They are perfect! The size is right on I always buy half a size up because I wear custom shoe inserts in my shoes and with some shoes even going up a size I feel like my feet are squished. Not in these shoes the mesh material has just enough give without making the shoe sloppy. They are so supportive when you run that I don't worry about rock bruising or feeling like if I step down on something that it is going to hurt while running. I love running in these shoes. Heck I even love walking in these shoes. Everyone also ALWAYS comments about them and how colorful they are. If you are looking for a powerful "tool" to add to your run you HAVE to try these shoes.

They were too small and hard as a rock inside. My bunions were not having it. Sent them back right away. Not a bad looking shoe and I guess for the healthy footed stealth woods runner, maybe?

I love Pearl Izumi, I think they are highly underrated. I buy a lot of their clothing, biking gloves, accessories, and I do have a pair of their cycling shoes that I use for indoor spinning classes. I bought this shoes primarily for their looks. When I purchased them, I didn't see a lot of reviews out for them and the ones I did see were for the men's version. These are awesome shoes. I went a half size up, but I do that with all of my running shoes regardless of how true to size they are. Your foot swells when running, so going a half size up is a smart thing to do. I've been using my Saucony Peregrine 2s for my trail runs and I love them, but I love these a bit more. Slighly comfier ride. I think I will invest on the road version of this shoe as well... I mainly run on Saucony Kinvaras and New Balance Minimus, but I am looking forward to adding Pearl Izumi to my road shoe rotation. I buy running shoes mainly for how they feel obviously, but I also place a lot of importance on looks and this shoe definitely has both!
