I got these for my wife for her B-Day in November so she could continue power-walking in the winter. She absolutely loves them! They fit with heavy socks and give her great support. She can now walk on snow or glare ice without fear of slipping and falling. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that they are made in SE Asia. I know... they all are, but I still don't have to like it.

Excellent support and fit. Columbia is my new favorite brand of shoes. Can't wait to try them out in the snow!
