I own the blue-ish colored pair of these shoes and if there were need to sleep in them, I would! They are the most amazing and comfortable shos I have ever owned!! They form to my foot like a glove, yet they are super easy to get on and off (unlike the 5 fingers). I wear these every single day without fail.
2 things to note, however... 1) your feet WILL get stinky after a few weeks of wear, but throw them in the washing machine and then line dry and you're good to go! 2) you WILL feel the ground beneath your feet! I wore them camping a few weeks ago and I felt every rock and root under my foot. Now, this IS the point of barefoot shoes, so this is NOT a negative!! Rather, something to throw out there for someone who may be wondering. (feeling the rocks didn't hurt btw... there's enough protection from that with the Vibram soles).
They have awesome traction as well... I never slip or stumble, and while on the camping trip I walked along a narrow tree that had falled over a lake and the shoes gripped the tree like I was a tight rope walker.

I was looking for something with support for walking but light on the feet and comfortable. I can't wear tennis shoes as they hurt my feet, even the wide sizes. These are perfect, next best thing to being barefoot (and better because there's some support). I ordered the wide size but I think I would have been good with the regular as they are quite roomy.

I'm not a runner, but I've been enjoying the shoes for casual wear, walking, and general exercise at the gym. The size 8 I ordered fits true to size for me when I wear light athletic socks. I've worn them sockless, but I find them more comfortable with the socks. They shoes are very light, and they dry extremely quickly which has come in handy when I've worn them in rainy weather on summer vacations. They wash well, too, an advantage after muddy adventures.

I work in a hospital and stays on my feet all day long. Love the fit and support on this shoes, Its light weight feels like you're walking bare feet, and its washable too. I would love to buy another color for the summer, perfect for travelling and light enough to pack. It comes with different hot colors. I was shopping around and considering of getting the new balance barefoot running shoes at first, but I'm glad that I looked into getting the Merrell barefoot running shoes.

My feet are a mess. I wear a size 8W and have flat feet. For 30 years, I have experienced throbbing pain in my arches and sharp pain around the ankles with aching discomfort extending up my legs, knees, hips and back. Specialists recommended orthotic inserts tailored to my needs and/or a maximum stability tennis shoe. Both options not only made my pain worse, I believe they attributed to my bunions. So, I made a radical switch to shoes that offer minimal support. I started using Vibram's Five Finger (or toes) shoes for my daily 4-mile walks -it took three days to get accustomed to the switch. The result? No more bunion/arch/knee/hip/back pain, although I still experience occasional ankle and thigh discomfort. Making the decision to switch to barefoot technology footwear, I purchased these shoes to wear on weekends and work. These shoes present a low profile that doesn't make my feet look as wide as they are (quite the opposite in fact) and the mesh-like material "breathes" for all day comfort. The back of the shoe has elastic inserted just behind the ankle providing maximum comfort and fit. The toe box is reinforced with a light rubber material that manages to protect the toes and maintain the flexibility of this shoe. To date, I have purchased two pairs of this model and highly recommend it.
