I have a pair of shape ups I wear to work everyday for the last 3 years they are still in good condition, but can't really keep them polished up too well. The new ones I bought feel so much better, super comfortable.I had bought the first pair when they originally came out the first impression of the new pair is MUCH more comfortable than the older pair, could just be the compression is starting to get lost after all the walking on the older pair.I will wear these couple of weeks & buy a second pair , just so I can rotate them from day to day so 6 years two pairs ??.I do ALOT of walking for work, mostly cement floors & these shoes have been very good on my sore old knees. They are not for everybody ,take some getting use to,not the traditional walking shoe.Best Deals on Skechers Men's Shape-Ups Xt-Overhaul Oxford

I can't be 100% sure, but I think these shoes cured my low-back pain. I bought 2 pairs of Sketcher's, including the Xt-Overhauls, about a year ago. After a short adjustment period and then regular, 45-minute walks, the intermittant low-back pain that I've had for years went away. My body, and especially my back and my posture, feels good as I continue regular walks in my Sketchers.A few years ago, a chiropractor advised me to do exercises to strengthen my core. Some of these exercises involved sitting on a large exercise ball, forcing my back muscles to adjust to the unstable position and thus become stronger.
I believe that my Sketcher Tone-Ups do basically the same thing: the rocker-like sole apparently forces my muscles to work in a way that strengthens them. In any event, the troublesome bouts of low-back pain have disappeared (knock on wood), and I think the Sketchers might be the reason. Plus, I love the feeling of walking in these things!
