I usually love Columbia shoes. I wore the hell out of my last pair for over two years, and they are still in as good of condition as these ones were after only a few months. Just not happy with them, and dont want to go through the hassle of sending them in and having them inspected only to be told that its user wear or whatever and not a defect. The mesh is falling apart (note to self...no more mesh in shoes), the back part that goes around your ankle is falling apart (not very comfy), this also happened to my lat pair but not until after about 1 1/2 yrs and under much harsher use.

Overall a great pair of "everyday" shoes for the price. They are very comfortable and required no "break in" period. The laces were just the right length, they fall about two inches from the top. Even though the description says they are waterproof, they are not. Water does make in through the top of the toe box. I have been using these as everyday shoes, not running shoes and found them great. I wouldn't be inclined to take them out on a 10k trail run, I would use a better quality shoe. I would purchase again.
