I got these recently to replace that pair, and while they retail for about 20 dollars less than the current Cumulus 13s, I think they're far more comfortable. I tried on the Cumulus and they just were not as comfortable as the Gel Phoenix 4. Asics are like walking on clouds.
I was a bit wary of getting the lime/purple combination, but despite my hesitance, I love them.
In my experience, these shoes run pretty true to size. I like that the toe box is nice and wide so your toes don't feel squished. The heel and ball of foot have the gel cushioning so these make for great work out shoes as well as shoes to wear when on your feet all day. The extra padding around the achilles and ankle adds stability and great comfort.
My pair was purchased elsewhere, but if you're looking to buy online, do yourself a favor and go in store first. I tried on a lot of different Asics styles and found each to be relatively different. I almost ordered the Nimbus online because of the great sale price, but when I tried them on in store, was not impressed. Just something to consider.
The Phoenix 4s, however, is pretty awesome. Very glad I got them.

I looked at a lot of differrent shoe brands and Asics was a high seller on Amazon so I picked these out and I am glad I did. Not only are the colors great but the shoe is very comfortable and I didn't have to break them in. I am training for a half marathon and have been through my fair share of running shoes in my life. I tried k-swiss tubes, nikes, new balance....you name it I have tried it. I am a over-pronator and I read up on asics and this brand and thought this was worth a try. They fit snug around your foot with room at the toes. Perfect fit in my opinion. They are so light weight and feel like I am walking on the clouds!!! Cannot wait to try a short 3 mile run tonight in them. This is the 1st pair of Asics I have ever ordered or owned. I went on a whim and decided to just "go for it" after reading some great reviews about the gel phoenix 4 running shoe. I have NEVER done that before because shoes are "tricky" and I always need to try them on in the store before purchasing. I decided I needed to get some more running shoes though and since I injured my back recently I can't really walk around far and didn't feel like going all over to different shoe stores trying to find "the perfect shoe" so I ordered these off of Amazon.Let me tell you.... I am 32 years old and have NEVER EVER had a more comfortable running shoe in ALL MY LIFE!!! These shoes are AWESOME!!! They are soo lightweight it feels like they're not even ON your feet!!! The gel speva soles feel like your walking on bouncy air!!! The cushioning is great!!! I love them soo much and I haven't even started my "running" in them, I've just been walking all over the place in them lol. I swear they're even making my back feel better. I really thought I would put them on and have to "break them in"..... but they feel like they don't even need that! Asics are sooo much better than Nike, Reeboks, etc. I will never GO BACK!! Asics you just found a customer for life and if your someone who's reading this and thinking "should I buy some Asics or not?" I'd say JUST GO FOR IT!!!! The GEL PHOENIX 4'S are GREAT SHOES!!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! I know I'm not!!! ;D
