I would give out one star but perhaps it is just my own foot just be careful when sizing and be prepared to return if your usual New Balance Minimus sizing does not fit right and it really must fit right for these shoes to be effective.

I recently upgraded to a pair of the MX20v2s after wearing out an old pair of MT100s. I primarily use these for weightlifting, and they are a significant improvement in that role. The MT100s have a fairly compressible sole, while these are are much stiffer and, therefore, a much more solid platform for lifting. The fit is snug, but not overly so, and I find that these comfortably accomodate both lightweight socks and sockless wear. Finally, these are very light and well-ventilated. They're by far the best pair of training shoes I've found to date!Best Deals on New Balance Men's MX20 Minimus Cross-Training Shoe
I received this the day the delivery was promised. There were no issues with the packaging or the delivery. My first impression of these SUPER LIGHT. I picked up the package (knowing what it was) and me and my wife both commented how surprisingly light these cross-trainers are. I wanted to wear them prior to using them in "action" but I wasn't able to. I put them on the night before and the following day I wore them in a Camp Gladiator workout. The night before I did wear them a few minutes, take them off and then bend at the forefoot and twist them side to side to break them in a bit. I used them for a 60 minute session doing jumping jacks, cherry pickers, mountain climbers, etc. and I had no issues with them. The soles felt a bit slippery but I am sure that is because they are brand new. I have worn size 11.5 but I ordered these in a 12. They are slightly bigger, so after I've used them for awhile I will try to give a follow-up update. The profile is real low (especially near the ankle area). To me the flat design reminds me of the Adidas Gazelle (I believe these are soccer shoes). I did feel a hot spot on the ball of my right toe, but I did not get any blisters.Update: 5/28/2013:
I've now had these a full week. I've used them for 6 cross-training sessions (Camp Gladiator) and one 6 mile run which was mostly on pavement with some short bouts running on grass. The shoes are really light, and on occasion you can feel the air pass through the shoes. Even on my 6th cross training session with them when I do full burpees on cement, the tread still seems slippery as if they are still brand new. When I did encounter some puddles during my run, the water seemed to disperse along the sides of the soles which I liked. It is a very light, and stylish shoe, and has a good feel my feet. I am happy I purchased these, I think you will be too.
Honest reviews on New Balance Men's MX20 Minimus Cross-Training Shoe
I have previously wore the Minimus MT20 and loved them, then when I ordered the MX20 in the same size, they actually fit smaller than expected and there is not as much width in the shoe as expected in comparison to the MT20. Overall still a good shoe, but comfort is slightly compromised.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for New Balance Men's MX20 Minimus Cross-Training Shoe
These shoes are so tight at the toes that they will actually cause blisters. On top of that they have terrible traction on wet tarmac (Parking lots, tracks and such)
The shoes are extremely light and they are a fantastic concept.
Addendum:
I've been wearing these #Newbalance #Minimus shoes for 4 weeks now. It has taken me this long to decide that I like them because, the first week I had them, they were so tight at the toes that they literally caused my feet to bleed. However after weeks of continuous wear, I can finally say that they are not too shabby after breaking them in. Minimus shoes are extremely light weight, and well padded at the heel and arch despite appearing and feeling to the contrary. They are running/performance shoes, not walking/everyday shoes and they will remind you of that fact as soon as you forget.
