This Ryka Water Shoe is great. The fit was good, and the arch support is great. It grips the floor and pool bottom with no slipping. It's easy to put on, too.

Ryka is a great water shoe, or was till this design. I teach 10 water fitness classes a week. I go thru many new shoes and the Ryka made 3 yrs ago were perfect. These shoes miss the mark. They lack support at the top of the shoe ,and most importantly bad traction. They are very slippery, and this is so important on the deck of the pool, and when in the pool. Sadly disappointed.

I ordered these shoes to use for my water aerobics class that I take 3 times a week. They fit and work very well. I usually wear a size 6 1/2 or 7 shoe and I ordered a 6 1/2 and they fit nice and snug like a water shoe should. They keep me from slipping around on the bottom of the pool and help provide support for my feet during the jumps. They do take a while to dry out (about 3 days when just sitting at room temp.) But what shoe that has been soaked in water for over an hour wouldn't take a while to dry. I always remove the insole so it can dry out on its own and then replace it before heading out to the pool again. I would recommend these shoes to anyone wanting to help protect their joints and feet during water aerobics.

I broke both my ankles and my foot last year, and had to have surgery on all. Started water aerobics for therapy just recently and quickly found out that jogging across the pool was very painful. My instructor recommended these shoes and I am very happy she did. I couldn't have continued the classes without them. Now I can go to class and get the exercise I need to strengthen and get the movement back in my ankles and feet.

I have plantar facitis, achilles tendonitis, heel spur etc., so going barefoot for water fitness class is not an option. These water shoes offer plenty of arch support and heel cushion and the fit is snug, but not tight. I love them!! Also, if I remove the insole, they dry in no time.
