This shoe is true to New Balance sizing (I have been a size 10 for years with New Balance, and a size 10 in this shoe fits me well). It is lightweight and provides some support. My only concern with the fit is that where the mesh meets the suede on the outside of the shoe, my foot bends the mesh over the suede, giving the shoe a slightly crushed look in that area. This does not feel uncomfortable, however, so I can live with this defect.

I can't imagine it as a running shoe considering how thin the shoe is. I would expect it to fall apart with extended use and exposure to the elements. I am using it as a casual walking shoe, which is a task I think it can stand up to.

I usually put in 25-30 miles a week and I've found that ASICS are the best! I have a really high arch and need good support and lots of cushioning. I can always tell when my shoes are getting to the end of their support because my feet will start hurting even though the shoes may still look new. Some shoes will only last 3 months but ASICS usually last 4-6 months. They are worth the price to keep my feet happy!

I was a cross country runner for most of high school and stuck to asics shoes throughout my 3 years there. I have exceptionally high arches and tend to under pronate or run on the outer portions of my feet, especially my right foot, so the asics were the best choice, and were phenomenal and had great stability. Last year I bought a pair of Brooks, and they were okay, since I wasn't running as much I they lasted quite awhile without causing any pain, except when I recently began running 6 days a week again. I recently switched back to this shoe, and I can already feel the difference. It's lightweight, which I love, and cushions and guides my feet to correct my underpronation while not feeling too cushiony and too soft. I can't wait to run some races in these shoes!!

I have found Asics to have the best fit for me as a runner. I am a distance runner, and these shoes are durable, cushioned and impact-friendly for my high mileage weeks.

Some of the features of this shoe are:

Off-set laces. Instead of lacing straight up and down, they lace with a slant to the inside of your soles. This reduces pressure on the top of your foot.

Asics IGS cushion system. They have a gel cushion that absorbs impact for hard surfaces like roads, sidewalks, and treadmills.

Breathable material, so your feet don't sweat and slip around.

The only reason this shoe did not get five stars is because of the lacing pattern. I find that the off-set laces have me pushing more to the outside of my foot when I am running, instead of a center push. This side push needs more side cushion inside the shoe.

First, I would like to preface this review by stating that I am not a runner. I am just a lazy person that wants to wear really good shoes in a work environment in which I stand on my feet most of the day. The Nimbus by Asics is THE perfect shoe for me. I have pretty high arches, and this shoe offers the best arch support that I have ever experienced. Also, the cushioning is amazing (and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the personal heel fit feature). The shoe feels like it was custom made for my feet. I wore the Nimbus 11 for a while, and when it was time to replace the shoes, I tried many, MANY other styles and brands. Nothing compared to the Nimbus. I bought these in titanium/blue (which are beautiful and won't show dirt), and I plan on getting the black/purple and the white/pink ones as well. I really liked the colors available for the Nimbus 13, but I did NOT like how they felt. The Nimbus 13 is much more narrow than the Nimbus 12 or 11, and the height of the ankle support has been shortened. The shoelaces are even shorter for some reason. It's just not the same shoe. With that being said, I'm going to stock up on Nimbus 12's!

Also, Amazon is AWESOME. I work weekends in a store that sells shoes, and the shoes were less expensive for me to get on Amazon.com than at my own store with my employee discount! Also, I opted for Free Super Saver Shipping -I actually got the product delivered by UPS the very next day. I have owned these for two months now, and I still love them like the first day I opened the box. There is a close attention to detail in these shoes, and they look really great. They are a bit stiffer in the outsole than I'm used to, but they are cushy and comfortable. The uppers have a good deal of stretch to them, and the stitching just makes the shoe look very finished.

These shoes have undergone some serious testing in the elements, and not once did I have a wet foot. The OutDry material certainly works for me, and it still retains some breathe-ability. I have yet to use them in warmer weather, but I think they may run on the warm side. I have cold feet, so it works for me!

the shoe itself is great. already used it for a bit of walking in downtown seattle which still has a bit of snow and my feet were warm enough and dry. these shoes look real sharp. i already got a few positive comments on the way it looks, add to that the fact that it performs really well, you got yourself a winner. now only time can tell if this product will last long but for now, its five stars for me.

Been able to use these on my east coast trip where i did a LOT of walking. Went around toronto, new york, jersey city, atlantic city, washington dc, and north carolina in a span of 2 weeks. The shoes did not disappoint on the performance and comfort side, but the soles of these shoes did wear out faster than i expected. I had adidas shoes that ive taken on more trips over the span of 3 years that have thick treads still. I was hoping for the same with these shoes as they are primarily trecking and adventure shoes... For that, i have to cut off one star from my original 5 star rating.

These shoes arrived really quickly.

I am pleased with the design of this shoe. Stitching and sole are high quality. I have other Columbia shoes and the size is dead-on. It fits like a glove, has excellent arch support, and is very comfortable. Definitely recommend these.

ETA Less than a year after purchase I am not impressed with these shoes. The fabric started to tear on the sides between the suede and the sole began to separate from the bottom of the shoe at the heel. I didn't even wear them daily.

I have been wearing these shoes for about 11 months now and they are great. I live in Minnesota and am constantly walking around on heavily salted roads with slush and snow everywhere, but they have held up great. About every 4 months I take the shoes and wash them completely and they look just like new when they are done. One of my outer shoe-lace loops busted off, but that fine and I can just use the built in hole. Overall, these are high quality shoes, fit great, and have good traction and durability.

So I ordered a size 13 of these shoes and they arrived timely as I always expect from Amazon. However, when I tried to slip them on they barely fit and hurt my feet. I immediately removed them and sent them back. Every other shoe I wear is a size 13, but it appears I would need a 13.5 or 14 men in order to have these shoes fit. Firstly, I already owned a pair of similar shoes in white. I like to walk a lot, and these were extremely comfortable and durable. So I decided to try this pair in black to use in the gym, especially on my weight lifting days. I really love the the width of the bottom of the shoe. This really provides great balance and stability when I'm doing squats or dead lifts.

Secondly, while these are black Skechers, with a big white S on the side, they look slightly different than the picture. The picture seems more gray than black, and the three dark stripes that run from the top to the bottom of the shoe aren't on mine. I do like the way mine look though, and I love the fit. I wear them with a pair of black/gray Gold Toe socks, which just show about a half inch out of the shoe. Just high enough so the back of the shoe isn't on my achilles.

I am definitely a big fan of Skechers now, they fit my slightly wide foot much better than the more expensive Nikes or New Balance. Each of which I have tried.

I have used sketchers for many years and they always used to have a good durable product. But I bought two pair of Skechers Men's Stamina Nuovo Sneakers for the gym and they started having problems in the first few weeks. First the stitching at the front of the shoe that holds the rubber on fell apart, letting the rubber toe of the shoe flop around(I had to glue it back on for a short term fix) then

the loops that the shoe laces are run through started unraveling and coming out of the shoe, making lacing the shoe impossible! this happened on both pairs of my black Skechers Men's Stamina Nuevo Sneakers. I also have a grey pair and a blue pair. that have been unaffected by these problems. It seems that Skechers is not keeping up on quality control as much as they used to. that's too bad this used to be a great company (they used to give you a second pair of laces when you bought shoes) it sucks that they have quit that practice also.

now I have to start looking for a new cross training shoe company that can produce a product that lasts more than a few weeks!!!!!!

Cheap adidas Originals Men's Adissage Sandal

Don't buy these sandals...

I purchased a pair of these five years ago and they were great. The nobs did not come off...the strap finally broke loose after three years of use. I just purchased a new pair in June and by August most of the nobs are off already. They are almost unusuable at this point.

I wrote to the Adidas to let them know that the quality had gone downhill and got a 'corp-speak' response but no answer or even willingness to admit they have a bad shoe now. See update below:

Recently, a friend of mine bought the Adidas Men's Calissage, with the clear nubs, and they have not lost any nubs in over three months. They seem to be about the same as this version, just better made nubs. I would recommend going with the Calissage...if you can find it in your size. I checked on Amazon and they were out of many sizes.

These sandals are amazing if you give them the chance. Many reviewers have said that they hurt and are uncomfortable. I wouldn't say that they hurt but more towards the uncomfortable side if this is your first time wearing them. However, after a couple days of wearing them around the house, your feet should get used to them and the nubs start to soften just a bit. Now they're so comfortable to me that I try to find places to walk to in them!

I like the fact that the sandal strap is adjustable, but at the same time, very sturdy. In the summer I like to have the strap a little tighter. When it starts getting cold, I loosen the strap a bit so that I can wear socks with them around the house for my cold feet.

One weird thing that I've discovered is that, if I wake up and immediately put them on, they feel like they pinch the bottom of my foot just a bit. The feeling goes away after a couple minutes and I never have this feeling besides in the morning with these sandals.

Also, I wouldn't wear these as shower sandals if I were you. The strap is lined with felt on the inside and it soaks up the water pretty well. In the summer it dries quickly but in the winter, the shoe might still be wet in the morning after showering at night. If you decide to shower with them, flush out the spaces between the nubs once in a while with the shower head to get rid of trapped sock lint or dust. Another tip, if you do shower with them on, I suggest tipping the shoe upside down afterwards to drain some water out because it will get trapped between the nubs. Not a big deal but maybe this is what's causing people's nubs to fall off quickly? I've had these sandals for 2 months now, and they look brand new despite the fact that I wear them everyday!

The sizing for the shoes seem small by half a size. I wear 10.5's in Nike sneakers. However, I got the sandals in 11's and they fit great! The contours of the nubs fit my feet exactly.

These shoes are definitely a great investment. After wearing them for so long, the soles don't seem to have worn too much. I much prefer to buy something nice that lasts a long time then to buy 5 pairs of cheap flip flops that I have to constantly replace.

I truly believe Reebok got it right this time with the ATV 19+'s. I've been running since the 5th grade and I've always sworn by Nike products. However, I'm 51 now and recently had heart surgery. I bought these and enjoy wearing them around the house and to the store. I usually wear a Brooks Beast but I wanted to try a different design and see how that went. My foot got messed up in my youth and after a surgery to fix a torn tendon I was looking for a good shoe to stabilize my foot while out in the yard and just messing around at the grocery store etc. I wear a 13 and the fit is good even though I have fairly wide and flat feet. My expensive custom orthotics fit inside them well and the stability is there especially on uneven terrain. I am by no means an athlete or runner so I don't judge them based on that type of criteria. The one drawback is the strange styling but that didn't take long to get over once I wore them around a bit. I have enjoyed them enough to order a second pair when they were on sale. I would tell anyone that asks about them to try them on at the store or order them first and see if they work for your needs. I would have never purchased them if I had based my decision solely on the negative reviews that I encountered.

Ryka is a great water shoe, or was till this design. I teach 10 water fitness classes a week. I go thru many new shoes and the Ryka made 3 yrs ago were perfect. These shoes miss the mark. They lack support at the top of the shoe ,and most importantly bad traction. They are very slippery, and this is so important on the deck of the pool, and when in the pool. Sadly disappointed.

I ordered these shoes to use for my water aerobics class that I take 3 times a week. They fit and work very well. I usually wear a size 6 1/2 or 7 shoe and I ordered a 6 1/2 and they fit nice and snug like a water shoe should. They keep me from slipping around on the bottom of the pool and help provide support for my feet during the jumps. They do take a while to dry out (about 3 days when just sitting at room temp.) But what shoe that has been soaked in water for over an hour wouldn't take a while to dry. I always remove the insole so it can dry out on its own and then replace it before heading out to the pool again. I would recommend these shoes to anyone wanting to help protect their joints and feet during water aerobics.

I began running in the Vibram KSO's about a year ago and average 20-25 miles per week in them (once I built the requisite foot/calf strength). The TrekSport is a great upgrade over the KSO simply because the sole of the TrekSport is thicker and cleated. This is a critical fact if you plan on trail running. I found the KSO's sole to be too thin when running off road, especially on pea-sized gravel as you will feel this through the shoe; you will be shielded from gravel in the TrekSport. Also, with the TrekSport, you will not lose "ground sensitivity" with the thicker sole. Finally, the microbial addition in the TrekSport makes them less odorous than regular KSOs with prolonged use. My old KSOs continually smelled even after several machine washings. If you are in-between sizes, you should opt for the larger size so that your toes will not be cramped in the toe pockets. I am a size 10.5 and the TrekSport 42 size worked best for me.

I did a lil research on these shoes before I bought them...also, I bought the regular KSOs before I bought these, and running in the regular KSOs vs treks is like night and day...The treks are awesome cuz they have thicker soles therefore you don't feel most of the rocks that you might encounter. The kangaroo leather tops are super soft, they don't offer much for breatheability, but they do protect the foot from dust. All in all they are a great shoe, so buy them!

The shoes are very confortable and feels like your barefoot hence the idea of barefoot running. They do take longer to get into than regualar shoes but once you get used to them its easy. If they are worn for 4 hours your feet start to sweat but the shoes do not smell bad because of the microfiber material. The shoes were worth the price though. There also very cool looking and awesome of course. These shoes are also very light and you can run faster than regular tennis shoes.

Once I found out that they were only sold in stores (as stated on Vibram's site) I looked elsewhere hoping there was a store that sold their products online. My lucky day amazon had such a seller. The name was changed for some reason (sold on amazon as M118 Vibram Sprint) but it was the exact pair I was looking for. The same feel and fit as Vibram's sprint, but with the tread necessary to make taking them off-road more comfortable. A great buy for anyone who trains on and off road. The tread makes a huge difference between this pair and the original Sprint. Great buy.

These shoes are probably not for everyone. They are hard to put on and take off. I use them with Injinji socks because when I don't my feet get blisters. I'm in Afghanistan and run 3-7 miles on a treadmill every day. This is the second pair of Five Fingers I've owned. At the time of this review I am 40-years-old and a former Marine. My knees tend to ache after I run more than 3 miles in regular sneakers. Not the Five Fingers. When I run in them my calves hurt instead. It's a good hurt though muscle pain rather than joint pain.

Trust me, muscle pain is better than joint pain. I'm not a scientist or medical health care professional but I do listen to the pain in my body at 40. Do yourself a favor and try the shoes you won't be disappointed if you don't overdo it the first few times you go out for a run. Be cautious if you are running on sharp gravel or other surfaces with lots of pointy obstacles. These shoes are fine to run on rounded gravel but they don't have the same padding as standard issues running shoes.

I have and very much like a couple of other Puma styles (Faas 250s and the H-Street+) that feel generous in this same size, and have comfortably worn Faas 250s in a half size down, but the Shintai feels shorter and with a narrow toe box, so it's going back. It was comfortable enough during a quick try-on, although I never wore it out to say how it performs. I wasn't too blown away by the look; I'm a sucker for the orange, but the shape seemed puffier on the foot than I prefer. What with my general meh on the shoe, I probably won't bother to order/try on a size up.

Its a lightweight shoe but if i wear it for long my feet hurt. Overall a good shoe, just make sure you order 0.5 to 1 size more than what you usually wear.

All I can say is that this running shoes, look great, feel good and the price is right. Love them, just make sure you order yours a half size larger. Puma tends to make shoes smaller the other brands.

The only reason i gave it a 3 star is because the packaging was not good as it has always been for the past 6 years that i have been buying on Amazon. The right shoe looks like it was used for display somewhere, it looks used and has a small tear on the side. I can't return it because I am a soldier and is the only shoes i have for the gym here in Afghanistan. On the other hand the shoes are light, pretty and great for Insanity workouts and running.

My son picked these out from the images on the product page. They looked great of of the box. He liked the feel of them. Well after 6 weeks they have almost fallen apart. Where do I start. Well after 2 days of school I asked him why his shoes were so discolored. He said that he had just worn them around for recess and class. They fabric turned an ugly brown-orange and they did not come clean even with oxyclean. Next are the laces. I understand that laces fray and need to be replaced but after 6 weeks? That is not the worst... it is coming. After I washed them, I removed them to dry from the washer and noticed that on one of the shoes the entire front sole has worn so much that there was a hole big enough for my thumb to fit. The other shoe had some wear but nothing like the other one. I have never seen that on casual school shoes (have seen it on shoes for tennis). These might be good running shoes but they should not be bought for young boys. I thought Puma was a good brand these days.

These sneakers look and feel great. Light on the feet and very comfortable. I use them for my workouts at the gym which include 25 minutes of a cardio run. Have gotten good compliments on them as well when worn with jeans. This is my third pair of Puma sneakers and so far all have been worth the purchase.
