I am very pleased with this product. It is compact, but still powerful enough to produce the shine just like it's larger professional models. Perfect for a discrete small area within a home.
The operation of it, when turned on, is extremely quite. This, despite the high RPMs it achieves. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for that traditional shoe shine; with minamal effort as the goal.

One of the screws holding the unit together was missing. Another one was about to fall out. The buffing pads were so pathetically inadequate, there is no way I would have used them on my shoes. One of the pads would not thread to either side of the shaft.

This product works fine, I was expecting a more powerful motor like those I have used in high end rest rooms. Not a bad product if you don't stall the motor, but have to watch how much pressure is applied to the buffer.

Bought this and took it to work because I couldn't find a place that seemed right at home. Immediately the device went to work for every member of our staff. It works early, it works late, fascinating to watch employees dancing around on the pole while they shine their shoes. It really gets used here. The motor definitely has a work out. The purpose of a good shine is to allow it to lightly shine and not bury your shoe into the buffer. The motor lags if you do shove it hard and you can cause the windings to wear out but with all the use this one has had it stayed running.
