I've had these shoes for about a month now and couldn't be happier with them. I use them primarily for dog agility (which involves running, sprinting and sharp turns on various surfaces) and hiking. The fit is normal for a sneaker, both size and width. Although slightly heavier than a normal running shoe, they are very comfortable and the other features more than make up for the extra weight. The rubber cleat-like bottom gives fantastic traction, even in wet grass. The waterproofing is very effective, I've run through tall wet grass and stepped in a rather large puddle, and not a drop of water has gotten through to my socks.
My only complaint, and it's a very minor one, is that I wish they came in other color combinations, I'm not really fond of lime green. But performance-wise, these shoes are great. Heavier than a regular running shoe but lighter than a regular hiking boot, with the traction and waterproofing of a hiking boot and the low profile and fit of a running shoe.

Love the inov8 275! I was a decade-long asics girl, but honesly, after running in these, my asics seemed like heavy bricks in comparison. I wear these for my crossfit-style workouts, my trail runs (from short distances to half marathon lengths), as well as for obstacle racing. When I have worn them in obstacle races, not only do they grip and remain light in mud and water, but afterwards I hose them off and they are as good as new (I do replace the inserts though). I have also tried the 268, but personally, the 275 fits better because it seems a bit more narrow. I usually wear a size 9 in regular shoes, and the size 9.5 womens in the roclite 275 was just right. These seem like a great in between shoe if you are hoping to transition from a regular running shoe to a more "minimalist" shoe, or if you just want some more protection on the trails.

I already had a pair of Inov-8 Roclites (the non-Gortex version of this shoe), and knew that they run a little small so I ordered a half size bigger than my usual running shoes. After just one test run on fairly dry trails I took these kicks out for a 15 mile BEAST of a trail race...and LOVED every step. I could not get over how dry my feet were. With all the mud and water I ran through it was amazing the only mud on my socks was around the top (usually on this trail my feet are soaked the first mile in). Also, when the other runners around me were slipping and sliding, these shoes seemed to grab the ground and keep me upright the whole time. Be aware, the sock liner that comes with the shoe provides neither support nor cushion...I replaced it with my go-to insert (the Montrail Enduro Trail running insert). My only other pair of trail running shoes (in addition to the 2 pairs of Inov8s) is a pair of Montrail Streaks. I love them, but in comparison, they are VERY HEAVY and are a much bigger shoe in general. I was worried the GTX 275s weren't going to be "enough" shoe for the 15miler I had planned, but I had no problems at all the whole time.
Honest reviews on Inov-8 Women's Roclite 275 GTX Trail Running Shoe
These are nice trail runner shoes. I wouldn't recommend them for road running -the few times I've used them on the road, my feet have hurt (probably too much stability/cushioning). The shoe's snug fit around the ankle took some getting used to; I was worried about blisters/chafing but have had no skin issues. Nice water protection too -several times I've submerged my foot in puddles and have not had wet socks.

Shoes are just great. I bought them for a mud run and they did a great job. The waterproof sections did a great job of keeping the water in once it got in--:( I was hopeful the mesh would have allowed water to come in and out, but maybe it was just too much water/mud to tell. Don't be fooled though, every shoe will still allow little bits of rock in unless you tape off your ankle/sock line. That is my big note to self. Great traction too! Other than the mud run, the shoes have held up great for normal everyday activities. Wide enough for my foot size, not too flashy of colors.
