The Gel Kinetic is designed for overpronators, it is a stability shoe. If your feet tend to collapse to either the inside or the right with each step, this is the shoe for you. Its almost safe to assume all the negative reviews come from people who don't know their feet. Don't learn the painful, blistering way... get a professional to help you find an appropriate shoe, don't just buy it because theyre "Hot"

I have had great luck with these shoes. I've run many miles in them in the last year and a half and I'm only getting a new pair because I am supposed to...not because they are falling apart. Love them!

Let me first say I love the way these shoes look! I was so bummed that the fit was not more accurate to the description. The heel/ankle support sits much higher on the ankle than my other Asics. The arch support is more substantial than I believe was described. Overall, if you need more ankle and arch support, these would be a great shoe. For someone who is a neutral pronator, these shoes are not for you.

I Bought this shoe for my daughter who had to have these running shoes. She ran just a little, she mostly did walking in these shoes and the soles are peeling away from the gel layer in the heel area after only 2 mos of moderate wear. This is the first time I've had a problem with ASICS running shoes. Needless to say I'm very dissapointed. For the price they should last longer than 2 months. We Will be returning the shoes.

I haven't used it very much yet, but so far it seems great. It is very comfortable and for the first time a pair of sneakers fits perfectly to my wide feet. I think the sizing is a bit larger than usual (my shoesize is usually 8 and I ordered a 7.5) so I advice going to a store and trying it on (like I did) before buying it. I wanted the darkest color but I didn't know if I would like the lime part of the shoes. It is actually pretty!!! The lime part is very discreet. As I said, so far, so good.
