This seems to be a well made, comfortable and very light shoe. I usually buy Tsukihoshi Speed sneakers. Kaz are not as "bouncy" as Speed, their soles are not as "cushy", but my son still said they are comfortable. Cannot speak of the durability, since we just got them. I do want to warn that they run VERY large. My son's size is 12, I followed recommendation, bought size 11, and it is still a bit roomy. In comparison Tsukihoshi Speed only half size bigger. Overall, we love this brand, even though it takes a while to find the right size. For us Tsukihoshis last the whole school year, and machine-wash wonderfully.

These shoes fit as expected and my daughter (3 yo) really likes them. They're very flexible and light weight making them very comfortable. The velcro strap has good enough grip that it stays closed while being worn, but isn't so grippy that my daughter isn't unable to unlatch it herself. The laces are stretchy -they don't need to be tied and in fact, they cannot be adjusted. This is fine for me as my daughter isn't old enough to tie her shoes, but wants to be able to take them off and put them on by herself -hence the velcro strap is the perfect solution.

This shoe is great. I ordered the pink and navy ones in a size toddler 9 and my child loves them. They are very lightweight and flexible. They seem comfortable and my daughter says they are. I love that they are bright and colorful and fun without having to have some tacky cartoon princess etc on the side. We are very happy and are excited to discover Tsukihoshi shoes. Will update after more wear.

First off, these shoes fit well. The sizing was accurate, not overly large. I was happy that I didn't order a half-size down, and could have possibly ordered even half-size larger.

The colors are cute and match most clothing.

Most important, my 4-year-old likes them a lot and has worn them happily to preschool every day since she got them. She claims that they are comfortable and she runs and climbs a lot.

My only small reservation was that on one shoe some of the stitching was missing on the cloth part. I wonder if it will unravel further when I wash the shoes at some point. It's only one tiny defect, and I noticed it only after the shoe had been worn.

My son had the marina sneaker and LOVED it this summer. We didn't think a switch to the Kaz would matter but my son just didn't love the way they felt. We went back to the marina and sure enough, he was in love again. SO easy to independently put on and so comfy.
