i had the first generation provisions but the fit was different. i've had to move up half a size. love, love, love these shoes. build quality is superb.

This is a great sneaker! Compared to other sneakers I have owned, this sneaker is very light, and the wide toe box is a joy! Since I have brought them, my running form has improved, and I run with much less pain. I believe this sneaker contributed greatly to being able to complete 2 5ks and 2 Half Marathons in the past few months.

Very happy with this running shoe :) I was running in a pair of Adidas & was having a LOT of shin pain (I'm sure they're good running shoes, just not for my feet/legs)...needed a few days between runs for my legs not to be crazy sore. Switched to these Altra's & no more shin pain :) running much more frequently & going for longer runs, great shoe! Light weight & very comfortable.

I've only had a couple runs so far in them, but I really like these shoes so far. In addition to looking great, they are really light, but sturdy. I have really tight calves (an extension of my very tight hamstrings) and the zero drop seems to help stretch them out as I run. Also it's amazing how sore my feet were after the first run! They really work out the whole foot. Highly recommended.
