I was at first quite pleased with this shoe--it is an EE and has a lot of mesh both of which I need for foot comfort. However, today, one of the straps that runs up the side of the shoe and that serves as a lacing eyelet became detached. This a bit disappointing in a $120 shoe. I suspect that New Balance would be glad to replace it, but I'm going to weigh that against trying to fix it myself.

First Review: I received this shoe quickly and it met my expectations. I was especially looking for a wide fit for my foot and the shoe proved comfortable--buying the shoe in a store would have been a hassle. I also had a question for the merchant and received a very quick and informative email response. Good experience.

The N-lock design for holding the laces in place seems like a good idea for comfort and stability, but not if you are planning on working these shoes hard. In less than a month from purchase, two of the four N-lock straps have separated from the bottom of the shoe. These are worn every three days (in a rotation with two other NB shoes), inside only. Other than the shoes starting to fall apart, they are very comfortable in the weight room and for short jaunts on the track -just keep 'em off the court. I was surprised that New Balance would design a shoe where the laces are held in place by a small strap.

I bought these shoes because they were supposed to be the same style as my last pair that have lasted for two years. I was exited to have a new work shoe. My work only requires a fair amount of walking, but nothing that would be considered strenuous to the shoe. The strap on the N broke within 4 days. I do not understand how a hundred dollar pair of shoes can break in four days. I am very unsatisfied with my purchase.

The strap that holds the shoe lace broke the first time that I wore the shoes. The shoe laces are also too long. I have to double tie them to keep them off of the floor.

This is the first shoes that fit my feet. Perfect for running and hiking, The sole is very comfortable. I love it.
