I've worn safety boots for over 7 years. These are the best I've found for under $150. Comfortable and finally with a decent sized 'toe' if you buy the wide size. Before this I had RedWing, Hush Puppies, CAT (Wolverine?).

Ive had this boot for about six months now, and have held up wonderfully. Im a Carpenter, so these boots see all walks of life on a daily basis, from Framing and Drywall, to Roofing, Flooring, Siding, etc. I was skeptical about buying this boot because of the reviews saying that the soles split after only a month or so, but Ive had these in the dead of winter, working, and now its warm out. and still these boots are holding up great, considering these are the first pair of boots ive purchased in a very long time. I ONLY wore gym shoes for work because of the flexibility, and breathability. And these boots fill that empty spot.

This is the 4th pair of Timberland Pro Men's Titan boots I've had. After the 3rd pair I swore I would never buy another pair, but the salesman assured me that the sole design flaw had been repaired. But 6 months into it, the sole has cracked and my feet get wet walking across wet pavement.

I will say these are the most comfortable boots I've owned and that's why I continued to try them. However, if you expect them to last longer than 6 months, buy something else!

I'm a civil engineer and use them on site daily.

I stepped on nails, broken glass, metal sheets, twisted rebars, freshly welded (hot) steel pipes, you name it! I like the boots... Comfortable, lightweight (for safety toed work boots) and they aren't as big and "clumsy looking" as other brands. However, they are no as durable as expected: the rear part of my left sole came off and that is something I wouldn't expect to happen from Timberland after 2 years.

Tried to repair the loose sole, but contact cement isn't quite doing the job.

The positive reviews I've read about this boot are accurate. I was starting to question my purchase during the first week of wearing them at work. My little toes were soar from getting scrunched all day (ordered wide size too) and there was a part of the tongue that was rubbing on the front side of my right ankle. But, after about 5 days of use, they started to break in nicely and now I can't think of a more comfortable boot that I've worn in the past! I first bought a pair for my son about a year ago. His feet are extra extra wide and he loves the boots. That's really what triggered the purchase for myself.
