I purchased this shoe for my son for baseball at a local Academy store before it was available on Amazon. I always look for the lightest weigh quality shoes for my kids at a decent price. That pretty well sums up this shoe. It seems true to size, and is durable. We had been buying Nike, and it is a very good shoe, but this one was a bit lighter despite being higher on the ankle, at a similar price point. Moderately higher priced shoes such as these seem to get you newer lighter, usually more durable materials. We are starting our second season in these. My son likes them, we will buy them going forward. The light weight of this shoe is truly amazing, and it is a mid ankle shoe. Thanks.

My son is 10 and plays hard! He needs extra support for his ankles so we decided these shoes might do the trick because they are mid highs. They are light and have not hurt his feet at all! So impressed!
