These orthotics were originally recommended and sold to me through a Podiatrist and he had an upcharge. They really helped my plantar faciatis issues and when they were out of my size, I was thrilled to see them here and bought several. I'm now ordering for my son and mother who also have arch issues. Don't waste your time with "drug store" type inserts.

I was told by a Dr's office, where I have paid as much as $90 for these exact inserts, that they were the only place to get them. I found them here for 1/3 the price! Exact same item! Somebody is making too much $$$. Thanks for an honest price. These are some great inserts, recommended by Dr's.

The Powerstep ProTech Full length orthotic is one of the best I have ever purchased. I cannot believe how inexpensive this product is for the quality and longevity. I have been using Powerstep products for four years now and all the aches, pains, and fatigue my feet used to feel has been history for just as long. I am a big man, so comfort and endurance is important and these Powerstep products meet my needs completely. I walk 20 plus miles a week and the Powerstep insoles last a year to a year and a half before I feel the need to replace them. Excellent product and I highly recommend you try them.

I'm a supinator, so I have a tendency to put a lot of pressure on the outer edges of my feet, causing bone bruises when I run farther distances.

A few years back, I did a 30K and ended up with a bone bruise on the bottom of my foot. A podiatrist verified this with an x-ray and sold me a $300+ pair of custom orthotics that did NOT work and caused new pains in my achilles, and I got blisters all over my feet in the arches and tops of both feet just walking in them... She then sold me another pair of orthotics that were over-the-counter and also did not work. I wasted a lot of money and didn't know what to do except stop running for the year.

The next year, I got a bone bruise on the bottom of my other foot. I went to a different podiatrist, who told me to try these. He sold them out of his office, and they really worked. I was able to finish my first marathon, and I'm grateful to him.

I was not sure what inserts to use for plantar fasciitis until my mother's foot doctor sold her the Powerstep ProTech. I bought a set from the doctor too, and they are wonderful. They fit in most of my sensible walking shoes. They will not fit in my "cute" shoes. I was so happy to find them on amazon.com for half the price the doctor charged (although the price has increased over $5 since I bought them last fall). I have bought a pair for each of my walking shoes.
