These are very nice boots, and are great during the winter months that I've been wearing them. They keep my feet dry and warm, and they support my ankles really well. It took a little while to break them in, but now that I've worn them several times, they are more comfortable than when I first wore them. I like these alot, and hope to maybe purchase some more Eastland boots in the near future.

I ordered these boots after returning another style of Eastland boots due to their fit and nasty color. The Butternut in the dark brown leather fit perfectly! They have a nice sole for winter walks that gives some traction, I originally thought the red laces would be a bit flashy but they look trendy and great with jeans. The company did include a pair of regular brown laces, just in case....The area around the ankle is padded for comfort. There is no arch support but it doesn't seem to bother me. When the shoes arrived, I tried them on and they felt terrific. I wore them the entire day with no problems. I would definitely recommend these for their comfort, style and durability! If you look at some of the other Eastland boots; you need to realize that they are not all cut the same and may not be true to size...this pair was true to size.

I love these boots. They were exactly what I was looking for. The look great with jeans. Dark laces were included if you don't want to use the red ones. I have another pair of Eastland shoes that I love. I would definitely recommend these.

I was very excited to receive these boots and was very quickly disappointed. I tried on the boot, it fit perfectly. I went to tie it and the top two brads of the lacing popped straight off! I was extremely shocked and wondered if I had somehow pulled too hard to make them do that, so I tried on the other shoe being careful to not pull hard and the same thing happened. I was extremely disappointed. If it would have only happened to one boot, I would have reconsidered getting a new pair and just thought it happened by some manufacturing default, but it happened to the both. I would not recommend purchasing these boots. You can take the risk if you want, but my guess is the same thing will happen to you in due time.
