I am a beginning runner who has some issues w/ over pronation of one foot due to leg length discrepancy. So far, I am feeling more stability in these shoes than in my previous shoes, and they seem more durable than others I have purchased. I do wear a lift in my left shoe, and there was enough room in these shoes to accommodate the orthotic w/out issues.

These shoes DO run small and narrow, so take that into account when you order. I took a full size larger in these shoes than in some others. I also have narrow feet, and think someone with average or wide feet would need a wider version of this shoe.

If you use these on the road at higher mileage, you might want to add a thin gel insole to add a bit more cushion, but otherwise, I honestly think that they are just as suitable for the road as for the trails. I especially like their traction on wet pavement. They also have a good bit of flexibility in the sole, which is a problem w/ some trail shoes, but not with these. In fact, I didn't even realize that they were trail shoes when I bought them! I am very happy with these shoes so far, and plan to purchase more when I wear these out.

Very comfortable. I would not use on road surfaces, but the support on trails is what it should be. I ran ten miles with them right out of the box on a very rocky, sometimes steep trail. I had no blisters. My ankles did not buckle on me. There was adequate protection from rocks. And I felt I had a lot of agility; not heavy-feeling and easy on the knees. I'm real glad I got these shoes.

These shoes are little smaller than envisioned. I had a a pair of Kahana 2 shoes and liked them. The Kahana 2 shoes were 10.5, ordered the Kahana 6 in 10.5 but I had to exchange the Kahana 6 shoes for size 11. Very comfortable shoes and I really like them once I got the right size. The exchange worked well except that the price had increased by about $3.00. All in all, a good experience and outstanding shoes.

Nice shoe, especially for the price. broke in quickly, and just keeps getting more comfortable. In my experience they seem to run about one size small, so order a size up.

Very comfortable shoes BUT beware if you are on WET smooth surfaces where wearing these shoes is more like walking on ice. I thought trail shoes would provide extra grip. No so if on wet tile, roots, smooth rocks, etc. Beware. Otherwise I'd rate them much higher for comfort.
