Fist pair of cycling shoes for me and I must say they're extremely comfy. I live in a very hot country and the mesh really permits my feet to breath but it doesn't take away from the stability of the shoe. Easy to slip on and off, although for some they might not tighten enough for a snug fit but for me that's fine as I'm just getting used to being clipped onto my pedals and if I can slip my foot out of the shoe in case of an emergency, much better! I did order up as all the other reviews mentioned, thank god for that! I'm usually a 38 (8USA) and ordered a 41 and they fit perfectly.

The mesh has no cloth backing to keep dirt out. You shoes will be full of dirt the second you hit any. Also, the heel is a strange fit. Lots of rubbing up and down. The heel does not stay put, partially because of the sole being so stiff, the shape of the heel does not seem right, and the tie ups don' t allow a tight fit. Returned and will try something else.

The mesh on the sides is really mesh so you can see your socks through the shoe but really helps the shoe breathe! Helps with the numbness I got from using the pedal straps. Don't forget the cleat set!

Very comfortable shoe. I use for spin class and love the support and comfort they provide.

The laces have a clip to secure so they don't bounce around or get caught. I like that they feel just like a normal tennis shoe but with the dual purpose.

I was reading the other reviews and I must say that I love it for spinning, I have not try them yet outside and I never go on dirt trails. For spinning are just fantactic and everyone complemented me on the color choices... I am thinking of getting the white and aqua!!!
