My daughter has average feet, no arch or pronation problem. I bought this for her so she can use it for PE in school. The first time she used it was during a holiday we took in Japan. We walked extensively to tour the sites. She logged in at least 5kms a day on these shoes and were on here feet most of the time, and never complained of pain or blistering whatsoever. She loved the color and thinks the shoes are fashionable enough (for an 8-year old). I did notice that the shoes runs small. She is a size 3.5 but I bought the Size 4.5 to give it some room to grow into. I also had to considered previous reviews that said the size runs small. But when we got the shoes, the fit was just perfect with less than half a size room. Bought these shoes for my 5 yr old daughter. They fit true to size and were perfectly comfortable from the first time she put them on. She never needed to "break them in". She just hit the ground running. The colors are exactly what is pictured...Saucony knows how to make a good shoe!
