Like I said, it isn't like other Vivobarefoot shoes, in the sense that it is too narrow. Good leather, good design, they shipped by UPS (which I honestly am not a fan of, because of the way they just leave it at the clubhouse without trying to deliver to my actual address). Returning this though because it just isn't comfortable, at all. Although I must say that if I ever am going to get Vivos I would definitely order it here in Amazon, because if you order it at their online store, you cannot return it if you have taken off any tags or have put them on and tried to walk in them.

I just started working, and my feet are ever so spoiled on several pairs of lace up Vibrams five fingers. So when I made the transition to having to dress more formally, I developed foot pain. I was looking for a pair of barefoot shoes that looked professional, and these fit the bill. My feet felt wonderful from the instant I put them on. I wear an 8.5 US and a 40 EU. I have wide feet, but these shoes fit perfectly. My toes have lots of space to wiggle and stretch and I can wear toe socks comfortably underneath them. They have no heel whatsoever and they encourage my feet to align properly. I tend to walk on the outsides of my feet and these angle them back in.

I have tried numerous Vivobarefoot shoes and these fit the ticket for me. In my opinion, they are really cute and look terrific paired with jeans. Mind you, I've been in Fivefingers for almost a year now and compared to the Fivefingers, these are cute to me. Love the leather, zero drop, and flexibility of this well made shoe. I am a 10M with a slightly narrow foot and the 42 fit me perfectly with a tiny bit of room to spare. The laces are solid and allow you to be able to tighten where needed. Sometimes the other models of Vivobarefoot shoes run too wide, but not the case with this one. Take a look at the internet video of this shoe and get a closeup look for yourself.I also recommend my all-time favorite Vivobarefoot Jazz for warmer Summer days. Say goodbye to shin splints, hip and knee pain, and Keep on Barefooting! I'll never go back to traditional shoes again.

These shoes are comfortable. Standing all day at work, I need to have flat comfortable shoes. I got the leather ones, as I live in a wet suburb, and needed waterproof shies. They are very ugly looking, something my grandmother would wear, I think Vivo need to consider making some stylish ladies shoes. I would buy a half size up next time though

Ladies, if you're having trouble finding minimalist shoes that can double as office shoes, these will make you very happy. I was a little unsure when I bought them because I couldn't tell real well byu the picture. But they're every bit as nice as they look and maybe even a little bit nicer. I personally wish they'd make them once or two sizes smaller because they are a little big for my feet. But they laces allow me to adjust the fit enough to make them workable. My foot doesn't actually slide around in them as I expected they would when I first tried them on. They just feel a little too long, probably because I'm used to the fit of my Vibram Fivefingers. Even so, I love the feel of these: I have good ground feel and my toes have room to move!

I purchased these insoles because I have a Morton's neuroma. I have used these insoles in my athletic shoes for a week and the only time that I have had pain from the neuroma, it was because I switched to another pair of shoes with an older, less molded insole. I'm really very pleased. When I took a spin class, my arch was uncomfortable when I stood on the pedals, so I will probably use a different insole for spinning. Otherwise, I will definitely be using these. My shoes are a women's size 7 and 7.5, and the size 6.5 insoles seem to fit both pairs very well without being too short.

I have metatarsalgia in both feet and need good insoles to walk comfortably, so when I read the description of these insoles I immediately ordered a pair. The good news is that they are very cushy .The orange inserts in the bottom of the insoles seem to be some sort of gel like material and provide noticeable shock absorption. The insoles initially feel a pillowy all over, in a strange sort of way, but that goes away after a few days. The insoles seem to mold to my feet. The arch is full and supportive. All this is very good.

On the other hand, the insoles are quite thick and don't fit in the shoes I bought them for. That's after replacing a pair of Powerstep Pinacle insoles, which aren't exactly thin. The heel section of the New Balance insoles is thicker still, altering the way I walk. I have a pair of shoes that work with the insoles so am happy with the purchase. Given how thick these are, I recommend them with reservations. If they fit your shoes, great. They may not.

I love Vibram shoes, this is my fourth pair. I've never been a big fan of Velcro for clothing or shoes (except for my toddler's shoes), so I was very keen to try a style with laces.

Here's the back-story. I have size 9.5 feet, triple-wide, so fitting has always been an issue. My first pair, KSO's, I opted for a snug fit and after a bit of a break in period they worked well...for a year, then the seams gave out. I've stitched them up a couple times and still have them, but they're shot. My next two pairs, Sprints and KSOs (again), I went one size larger. That's worked for longevity, but the heels don't fit right so much so that I put a heel pad into the (new) KSO's to help them fit better. (I suppose I didn't need to go a size larger for the Sprints, but I wasn't thinking about it at the time.)

The Bikilas....

I got a $100 Amazon gift certificate for my birthday, and settled on the Bikila style, the same (snug) size as my original KSOs.

My toes aren't quite the same profile as the shoes. The big toe is right, and the heal to big-toe-tip distance is right. The curve of the sole is right, really exact in fact, but my second and middle toes were a little squished the first day. After wearing them a bit that seems to be stretching, breaking in. The real issue, though, is the laces! They're too short for my arch and foot width, even fully loosened, and the ends are sewn into a tab. I'm contemplating cutting them off and replacing them, and if they don't stretch a bit over the next few days I'll have to do so.

Pro: Hey, they're Vibrams! Laces, not Velcro.

Con: The laces! They're too tight over my high arch, are pulling the whole shoe tight, and making the shoes uncomfortable.

Update: I cut the laces off and replaced them with regular laces. It worked! They fit perfectly now. Yeay!

I bought these shoes for my Tai Chi class, because no other shoes I own seemed to work right to complete the movements correctly and balance myself comfortably on the wood floor surface. The thin sole of these shoes lets me feel the floor effectively, while also providing sufficient cushioning so my feet don't ache. I wear a women's size 6 and the men's size 5 fits me just fine, with enough room to wear socks. I would recommend these shoes for anyone who's taking Tai Chi.

Right off the bat. These shoe's are as light as a feather and perfect for what I bought them for.. Parkour. Although they may have been made for 'Tia Chi', they make excellent shoes for Parkour and Free Running. They are light, grip really well, and have a thin sole that allows you to really 'feel the ground'..... However, if you plan on getting these shoes there's something you should know about the sizing. I was very confused and scared about ordering a size 11 when I range from 10.5-11.5..... I figured I'd be safe ordering in the middle, but I should've gone with 10.5. They still fit perfectly fine, but I have some toe room. Which I didn't really want. So I was extremely angry at shoe companies for being so inconsistent with sizing, 10.5 converse, 11 Vans, 11.5 in a lot of other shoes. These shoe sizes would most compare closest to Converse. So If you own a pair of chuck taylors, then use that shoe size as a guide. I wish more people on Amazon clarified the sizing. Either way, a little toe room or not, I'm still able to do what I want in these shoes and happily. You get a pair of these, you'll feel as agile as Uma Thurman in the Kill Bill trilogy.

Not only is this one of the best martial arts shoes available. But fits the definition of an everyday minimal shoe. The leather is soft and lasting and the sole has decent traction. Don't be put off by the thin rubber contact patch, its by design minimal. I have a wide foot and these fit fine.

They even work well as driving (manual transmission) shoes as its better to have a certain amount of feel through the pedals, and a thin shoe allows that.

I just received these shoes about 2 days ago and absolutely love them. Extremely comfortable fit overall. Due to the thin soles they are very flexible and lightweight, which is exactly what I was looking for. You will feel the bumps and rocks on the road, so if that isn't your thing look for a model with a thicker sole. But I can tell you guys, these feel great on your feet regardless.

As for sizing, I would personally recommend 1/2 a size smaller than your normal shoe size. A word of caution for those of you with wide feet.. the shoes are much wider towards the front, so you don't want the widest part of your foot seated too far back. I think if you get them too large, your feet will not fit the contours correctly and could potentially create some width issues. I have wide feet and 1/2 a size smaller seems to work just fine.

Awesome shoes, amazon is always great to work with. I will be getting more of these in the future.

Can't say enough good things about these shoes the gorgeous color is what originally caught my eye, and it is even better in person, a bluish-purple. I was also looking for Velcro, and these go on & off in a snap. My 6 y.o. daughter says that they are comfortable, which is the most important, and she is picky about shoes. The sole is nice & supportive, but it flexes well while she runs & jumps around. The sole also seems sturdy, like it will not erode over time. Overall the shoe is solid & supportive without being too heavy (which was important for my li'l klutz).

It's been about 2 months or so and these are holding up well. I liked them so much that I ordered a similar pair of Saucony Velcro in white for her for variety, as well as several pairs for my 2 y.o. son.

Been searching months to find a pair to replace my favorite MT101 (earlier men's version that isn't made anymore). These are extremely light, but provide much more cushion, comfort and stability that almost any other minimalist shoes. Worth the price here too. Will be 80+ in the store. They run a TAD big. I still got my normal size and am fine with them, but am tempted to get a second pair (because I like them so much) and would go one half size smaller.

the grey pattern is still unique while staying neutral. Have had many compliments on them at the gym.

I needed to replace my W730 shoes from New Balance as the mesh outsole was cracked and that model is getting hard to find. I wasn't sure about getting a "trail" shoe but I loved the funky colors and these are fantastic. The "trail" sole is not as pronounced as I feared it would be, and still very light and flexible. I have taken them on the road and the treadmill for about 20 miles now. I had no sizing issues, ordered my regular NB size (11B) and they fit great, roomy enough in the toe for some jogging. I am thinking about a second pair in case they discontinue these out from under me as well.

Just wore them to work once these shoes are very comfortable and very lightweight the grey and pink is much lighter than it looks in the picture feet didn't hurt and end of shift after being on concrete over 8 hours. Really like the way the tounge is made it don't go from side to side. I have serveral shape ups shoes This one seams to be the coolest for wearing in hot weather.

The Skechers women's LIV-Smart lace up, is the most comfortable work shoe I have ever worn. I have occasional flare ups of plantar-fascitis, and this shoe definately helps alleviate the pain associated with that. Admittedly, shoes ordered on line can be a tricky proposition. But I used the tried & true method of going to a store and trying them on before I bought. If the store would price match I would have bought them there. But the difference was over $25.00 and they wouldn't budge on price, so they lost out. I ordered the exact shoe model that we tried on in the store.

Shoes shipped and arrived on time. They came the color dark blue, which I somehow didn't notice when I hit the "buy" button. But as it turns out my son was pleasantly surprised when the dark blue shoes matched well with his blue team uniform. They fit his feet just like in the store (get the exact same model you try on in the store) and my son is now sporting dark blue cleats and loves them.

However, there's a very small design issue with the materials along the back heel of the shoe. When you wear them, they squeak. The noise source is from the exposed inner sole against the outside reinforced plastic heel material. Instead of returning them, I removed the inner sole and applied a very small amount of vaseline to sort of "grease" the plastic heal to eliminate the friction between the plastic heel and inner soul.

Voilà, it worked!!!!

I bought these shoes to work out in the gym. The pictures don't gives these shoes justice! I've gotten at least 10 random people asking me where I purchased them so they could too. Warning they run about 1/2 size smaller than other Adidas that I have purchased but did form up after a few workouts. So if you like a looser fit for casual then you will want to order a little larger than you normally would. During workouts and walking around these are very comfortable overall. Good support for my arches (I have flat feet and need arch support) I am satisfied with purchase so much that I'm looking to purchase another pair but in a different color. If I can find them.

I'll start this review by saying that I bought these shoes because I own an older pair of Adidas Bounce running shoes. I've owned that pair since 2008. I retired them from their gym shoes role about 2.5 years ago, but still wear them daily as sneakers. In other words, the old pair, with the help of some new insoles, have lasted over 5 years of regular wear and tear and haven't fallen apart. It's been very impressive.

Now on to the current shoes. First and foremost, I'm not planning to use these as running shoes. I do have a pair of running shoes and they have a lot more cushioning and arch support than this pair does. And unless you can't afford to spend the extra $30-$40 for a really good pair of running shoes, I wouldn't recommend these for running. The lack of support will probably do more harm than good. That said, this pair of shoes is great for cross training or use at the gym while lifting, using the elliptical machines, or using the bikes. They're very durable and comfortable. And like I said earlier, when you're ready to retire these shoes from training use, they can be used as daily use sneakers for quite a while longer. Even though I wouldn't recommend them for running, I still give these shoes 4 stars simply because they're constructed really well, and if used for the proper functions, they can be a great pair of shoes that will exceed your expectations as far as comfort and durability are concerned.
