The first few runs resulted in a lot of shock absorption (knee stress, etc)
After a few weeks the shoes started to perform better. Not the best, but not bad.
Now, though they definitly need to be replaced in less than 6 months.
Moral of the story: good for beginning runners who need cushioning (though I would suggest springing for some shock absorbers). designed for concrete not black top. if you run 30 and your going to want to pass over these.
Hope this helps.

Since I have extremely flat feet I went to a specialty running store to get outfitted for shoes. I was recommened these. They run small though. I'm usually a size 10. I had to get these in an 11 1/2. I recommend trying them on first before purchasing. I got good support but I still needed more. I took out the sole and put Dr. Scholls sports gel inserts and I have a lot more relief on my feet. I'm looking to getting these again!
