My husband gets this same exact boot all the time for years now. It is the only one he will wear. It gives great ankle and foot support, breathes real well, excellent for climbing and hiking, last a long time, handle moisture real well (don't get soft and break down when they get wet), and he really likes the locking laces.

The original Thunder GTX was perfect in many ways. Thunder Two does not achieve the fit or style, but is more than adequate for a hiking boot.
