This is my second pair of Saucony running shoes, and I think this is the only running shoe brand I'll purchase from now on. I regularly run/walk on a mixture of dirt trails and asphalt. After 8-9 months of regular use, they're still looking and feeling great. Absolutely perfect for what I need them for. On the dirt trails, there are lots of burs in the ground that attach to the soles of theseI can't even tell, which is great, because the soles are nice and thick and well-made. Had a pair similar to these before, which I would run on the beach with, and I remember them holding up for a long time as well. Ladies, if you're looking for shoes that you can run in any kind of terrain in, are extremely comfortable, that are not totally manly-looking-I highly recommend these!!

I'm a Medical Assistant at a busy Family Practice office and i'm constantly on my feet. I wanted something slip resistant stylish and comfortable not to mention black and pink and these shoes fit it all. They are extremely comfortable and don't squeak at all. They are perfect! The best thing is they come in wide! I had surgery a couple years ago on my foot and it's always a challenge to find good fitting comfortable shoes and I finally found some. Between these and my Shape Up's by Skechers. I choose these!. Would totally Recommend these to anyone and everyone!

These are cool shoes, but they are VERY narrow. I have never in my life had to order a wide shoe. I have tiny and narrow feet... but these were way too tight. Wish it would have worked out. I'm so happy that Amazon has a great return policy!

I jammed my right ankle some years ago and following physical therapy last year started jamming it again repeatedly. This was very painful, so on a podiatrist's recommendation I stopped wearing Sketchers Shape-Ups and tried New Balance Shoes. The result was more and more painful ankle jams. Finally, I went back to wearing Saucony shoes, which I was pleased to find in wider widths at Amazon. Using the same orthotics in them that I was in the New Balance shoes, I haven't jammed my ankle in months. They may not be as much fun as the Shape-Ups, but I love how my ankles feel now.

I still have my old Saucony Grid Excursion TR6 Trail Running shoes. Even these mostly worn out shoes outperform this "new" model.

I tried this on in a retail store before purchasing from Amazon. I spent some time in both the 8.5M and the 9M at the store. The 8.5 pinched my toes, so I tried a couple of pairs to be sure it was not that one pair.

I ordered the 9M because the models I tried on fit perfectly in 9M. However, the 9M I received from an Amazon vendor are too long! I thought I could work with that by wearing heavier socks and have been working at breaking these in.

This is where the real problems surfaced. The cushioning in them "feels" cushy, but does not truly support when trail walking on groomed trails. The bottoms of my feet tingle and burn and I feel every pebble through these. I swapped back to my old pair and the problem disappeared. It seems like they must have cheapened the quality to maintain a good price. I can't afford to compromise on my footwear, and would have preferred they maintained the quality.

I also have a LOT of heel slippage. I don't think it is that the shoe is too long, but that it is wider at the heel than my previous model of the same shoe. It is noticeable when I put them side by side.

Then there is a tag of some kind visible in the toe box of both feet! This is about 3/8" wide by 3/4" long, and sits just under the mesh covering. I have tried to reposition it so it is not so noticeable, but have not been successful. I bought these because my old pair was so unsightly, though still serviceable. This "tag" in the toe box makes me embarrassed to wear these out of the house.

I did wait to return these because I thought they were a no-fail purchase due to my past excellent experience with the same shoe in last year's model. I can't recommend them, but I may have a faulty pair, since the ones in the store felt great!
